Why was it the worst day for him to live through?

Her death not registering to him.....thats kinda cruel considering how kind she was towards him...

maybe cause he was still a noob and he has now surpassed the 100 trial and has still to manage to get away from the loop? After he becomes a pro it should be easier.

and since he pretty much avoided her in most of the later loops to save time, the Rachel that died probably wouldn't even have known who he is. In the end she was just another face to him, he had more important people to worry about at that point than her.

Every time she loops, Rita finds herself back in her barracks' showers. Gee, even Fate is either a peeping tom or a lecher. ;-|

Surprisingly, contrarily to the previous chapters where we've been treated with a no-holds-barred gorefest for every time the MC has to die, we don't actually see Rita die; it's almost as if her duel is interrupted just as she spots something of interest and engages a Mimic...or the author suddenly got squeamish and decided not to have the front-page girl skewered, disemboweled, [insert other form of mutilation here].
