Specials 5 and 6 are out, which both seemed to take place during their respective episodes. 5 involving just Yuuko and Nagi; where Yuuko asks about Nagi's glasses and leads to Nagi taking them off and untying her hair, and I have to agree with Yuuko she looked cute that way, though Nagi clearly needs her glasses as much as I do

. 6 was more on the funny side than cute side, so good balance in this two specials

.

MUCH better.
My opinion, they should've kept her with long hair and no glasses

Just watched specials 3 and 4, and I have to vote the "spooky/evil Tooru face" transition to be the best one yet

It'll probably get a second season in about a year, considering its moderate success in sales.

It would be nice if they would, but I have no confidence in this series being considered worthy of either a bad release or a dub. A sub-only and dvd-only release is probably our best case scenario.

Note, I won't complain if I end up being wrong. As I would like a bilingual BD release. I just don't want to get my hopes up.

Finally watched the last few specials. Man, I missed this series. Run's odd ways of thinking never fail to amuse me. She's like Osaka, only energetic instead of spacey.

Just watched the special OVA

A Channel + Smile

Searched it like 3 days ago when I noticed it was released into market (didn't find anything)
Until yesterday, it got subbed ;D

Really great OVA, reminds me of all the great funny things they had in the 4-koma, LOL.

Is it just me or the pacing in + Smile is a little bit faster than the main series. Interactions between characters flow more smoothly as well. Seems like an improvement to me.

I want a 2nd season of this.

Damn, Kaori-sensei has a pretty nice body when she takes her lab coat off. Dunno why everyone's so obsessed with Tooru when there's a real woman around. And I laughed pretty hard at Run's bizarre "Do you think I can become a grown-up?" moment. I honestly have no clue what she was doing or thinking there, and that's what makes it so great.

The OVA is better than the original 12 episodes. The timing and jokes were definitely much better executed.

I remember falling asleep while watching those.

The 2 OVAs were pretty enjoyable, Nagi accidentally wearing normally twintails for a minute in the first one was cute, and Yuuko's imouto was interesting to see in the second one, and I am convinced she was voiced Iguchi Yuka, can anyone confirm on that?

Tooru's friends' work place was also fun to see, as was the New Years related stuff for the second one, the wish they made were cute and fitting for the series, and also I laughed hard when they all rang the bell saying "Begone Nagi's worldly desires"

Yep, Kei's voiced by Iguchi Yuka. For a moment, I thought I heard Kanemoto Hisako, but it was obvious enough later.

Just watched all the Specials and OVAs and boy do I miss this show.

Specials were good cause they took stuff that they didn't animate and animate them, did very much enjoy the one with nagi and her change in appearance, was always a favorite moment

But the real deal is the 2nd OVA, Yuuko being sick and her oh so adorable imouto!
Didn't know about her and what a pleasant surprise.
The 2 of them with their cute kansai dialect, OH MY GAWD!
Also didn't expect Keiko to be a sis-con, another rather pleasant surprise!
The whole segment highlights some great points, Tooru missing Yuuko, Yuuko and Nagi's realtionship being like childhood friends even tho they have only known each other since the start of Highschool. Just adored when Yuuko grabbed Nagi's coat.
If I had to honestly say Yuuko X Nagi is my OTP of the series

Need a 2nd season and need more Keiko!
