Here is chapter 9. I hope you guys enjoy it. only three more chapters before the end of this fic

Chapter 9:
Sparring with the King

Tabitha felt her legs shaking; the hands that were holding her claymore were now very sweat. Standing in front of her was the Silver Haired King, the First Awakened, the Scourge of the Organization, the Northern King, the Dweller of the North, Isley himself.
She wanted to run, to fight, to scream for help, to do something that removed that monster from her presence but she stood still waiting for her captain’s orders.

Luckily for Tabitha, Isley was not staring at her, his eyes were focused on Miria and only on Miria, and there was a smile on his face. The silver-eyed woman stared back at him, fearless like a beautiful warrior-queen.
Although Miria looked fearless on the outside, on her insides she too was shaking.
Isley’s Yoki was impossibly high; he surpassed Riful of the West, that was certain. How did they not felt his Yoki sooner?
The two warriors stood still for a moment, looking into each other’s eyes until Miria decided to break the silence.

“Abyssal One, Isley of the North, What do you want in here?” Miria asked. Isley smiled before answering. That woman was brave, really brave. She could help him…

“I prefer being called Isley of the South, after all, I had a lot of trouble seven years ago to earn that name.”

Tabitha felt her rage increasing. Was he purposely referring to the tragic battle of Pieta just to mock them? To enrage them?
He was the culprit after all; the mastermind behind the War in the North, it was because of him that their companions had died! Tabitha looked at Miria, it would appear that her captain wasn’t being affected by Isley’s words but Tabitha knew better; she could feel Miria’s Yoki raising and she saw the veins of her hand becoming more salient. Miria was obviously making an enormous effort to not attack Isley right there.

“I don’t know who you are but you don’t seem to be a friend. How did you pass trough the guards?” asked Father Vincent.

Isley looked at him, surprised at how that weak and useless human dared to question him. For a moment he thought of killing him but he couldn’t do that at that moment, that would go against his purpose there. Isley stepped aside, revealing the entry of the stairs which he had come from.
It was now visible that there were bodies of armoured man lying on the ground.
Father Vincent looked horrified at that sad spectacle while Miria and Tabitha stared at the Abyssal One with angry looks. Isley, foreseeing that a fight would be eminent raised his hand on a sign of peace.

“They are all alive; I didn’t kill them as a proof that I have no ill intentions against any of you.” Isley explained.
Miria looked suspiciously at him, if he wanted to kill them he could had done that a long ago. She turned to Tabitha and with her hand she signalled the bodies.

“Go check them.” Miria said and Tabitha obeyed her immediately. She passed cautiously by Isley, never taking his eyes off him and approached the man that was closer. With her left hand she touched the neck of the man, looking for the pulse.
It was true, Isley told them the truth; that man was out-cold but he was still alive.
Tabitha did the same to other two guards and all of them had pulsation, she got up to, ready to leave but, by a chance of the fate, she looked at the end of the stairs and she saw at least fifteen more guards, all of them lying on the ground.

“This guy is a monster!” she thought “The battle was so nearby and we didn’t hear a thing!”
When Tabitha left the stairs she noticed that everyone, except Galatea, was staring at her, waiting for her to confirm Isley. Tabitha advanced and approached Miria.

“So?” said Miria.

“He is telling the truth, they are all alive.” answered Tabitha.

Father Vincent sighed in relief and Miria stared again at the Silver Haired King; it was unusual for an Abyssal One to spare humans so it was no surprise that all the silver-eye-women were perplex by that.

“You surprise me, Abyssal One. I thought you were merciless. So if it’s not a fight, then what is it that you want? Have you come just to pay us a visit?” asked Galatea.

“Tell me, are you Phantom Miria?” the Awakened Being said, completely out of nowhere, talking to Miria.

This caught everyone out of guard; even Miria couldn’t hide the amazement that she was felling. She thought that her plan was perfect, she thought that she had been discreet but now everything was lost. They had been found out, did the Organization already know that they were there? No, she had to remain calm, maybe Isley was the only one that found out about their existence, after all, he was the most powerful and the most cunning Abyssal One in the world. She had to be sure, tough.

“How do you know my name and how did you found out that we were here?” Miria asked, with her sword pointing to Isley. The smile never disappeared from the Awakened Being’s face. He was the strongest there and he knew it.

“So, you are Miria, eh? I’ve been looking for you for a long time. The answer for your first question is very simple: seven years ago, when the number 7 of the Organization, Eva, was sent to the North to kill my army of Awakened Beings, we defeated her, killed her comrades and captured Eva. In my castle, she was tortured until she gave me information about all nine single-digits and that includes you, Miria. After she gave me all the information she could, I killed her.” Isley said without the slightest remorse “She told me that the number 6, Phantom Miria was one the smartest warriors alive. She also told me about Alicia and Beth, warriors who could compare to us, Abyssal Ones, however she was not yet completed. Then, I deduced that the Organization would send an army to buy them time so that they could complete Alicia.”

“For you to tell him all of this… You must have supported horrible tortures, Eva.” Galatea thought, she had known Eva for two years before she went on that tragic mission. One time, Eva said that she hated the Abyssal Ones because one of them ate her family “It must have been very tough for you. I hope you are resting in peace.”
“However, that was obviously a suicide mission so the Organization wouldn’t send any of their precious top 5.” continued Isley. “So, I deduced that they should send the second best option and that was the number 6. You, Miria.”

“You really did your homework, didn’t you? But how did you found out that I was here?”

“That was more complicated. I thought that my army killed everyone in the North until, some weeks ago; I heard rumours that some mysterious warriors were appearing in different places and saving warriors from the Organization. That triggered my curiosity. Who could be doing that?” Isley asked even though he wasn’t really waiting for an answer; he already knew it. Miria moved, like if she was not comfortable just standing still. It was her fault after all; she had been careless. “Who had the strength to escape Riful of the West? Only Alicia but I knew that it wasn’t her. After that, I paid attention to any rumour until I heard one that said that the former number 2, Agatha, had been slain in the city of Rabona. Knowing that such an amazing feat shouldn’t have been done by the Organization, I rushed to this city in the hope of finding you. And now, here you are.”

Isley looked like a predator that had finally caught his prey; Tabitha stepped back but Miria once again looked at Isley’s eyes. The Abyssal One had a nasty smile on his face, Miria doubted that he would travel trough half of the Island just to talk with them; still, he had spared the soldiers. What was his true intention there, then?

“That’s true; I’m standing right here in front of you. But I suppose that you didn’t come her just to chitchat, what do you want, Abyssal One?” shouted Miria, trying to look fearless to encourage Tabitha and Galatea and maybe even, trying to impress Isley himself.

The Abyssal One was indeed impressed, that woman… she was so beautiful and strong. With a strength that she had never encountered in any of his concubines, not even in Priscilla; still he had to test her, just to know if she was ready for the dark times that would come…
With one quick movement, Isley removed his cape, revealing not only his muscular, bare chest, but also a long sword that was resting on a sheath waging from his chest.

“I want to duel with you, Phantom Miria.” Isley said, unsheathing his sword and pointing her edge in Miria’s direction “If you are able to cut one single time, I will tell you everything I know about the current state of this Island. I might even be able to answer the questions about those nightmares of yours that I heard you talking about when I arrived.”

Tabitha wanted to speak in behalf of her captain, telling them that that duel was absurd but she was silenced when Miria raised her hand. Tabitha looked at Miria’s face and she saw that she was smiling.

A duel. Miria really enjoyed duels; she didn’t even gave any attention to him mentioning her dreams; ever since she had join the Organization, she had settled important matters with duels; even her decision to leave the north had been settled by a duel, still, she never had to duel someone as powerful as Isley. Before being an Awakened Being, he had been the number 1 of the Organization so his sword skills should be unmatched. It would be a dangerous duel but…

“I accept it” Miria said and she saw Isley smiling “I will duel you but not here. Someone could get hurt; let’s go to the mountains over there.”

Miria pointed the direction and Isley looked to where she had pointed, he licked his lips and shook his head before talking with his back turned to Miria.

“I don’t think the fight will be so violent but as you wish. Don’t be late.” he said before disappearing. As soon as he was not visible, Tabitha sighed of relief. Miria was ready to leave but her friend appeared on her field of vision.

“Captain Miria, are you going? I don’t trust him, it might be a trap” Tabitha asked, visibly concerned. A duel with an Abyssal One, that was suicidal but Miria had a resolute look on her face.

“Tabitha is right. I don’t think it’s a trap because if he wanted to kill us he could do that in a minute, still, I’m sure that he is not telling us everything.” Miria heard Galatea saying behind her back. The blind nun was slowly getting back on his feet. Such a gigantic Yoki was like a punch in the stomach for her. She would have to learn to control that, if not, she would be useless in any large-scale battle.

Mira stared at the horizon and sighed “I know that but he might have some answers for us and my pride as a warrior is on the line I have to go.”

Miria too disappeared, running the fast she could to meet Isley in battle. Tabitha pushed her ponytail behind her head and got ready to run too.

“What will you do, Lady Galatea?”

“I will stay here with Father Vincent. I can feel the fight from here and I won’t be so affected by the Abyssal One’s Yoki.”

“Please, tell Lady Miria that we are praying for her victory.” said Father Vincent with his characteristic warm smile on his face. The human were so lucky, for a warrior, it would be impossible to smile that way after being face-to-face with an Abyssal One.

“Helen maybe could, she has a mental problem tough. I wonder what she is doing. She has probably made out with a Yoma by now.”

Tabitha laughed for her own joke, nodded and jumped out of the walls, disappearing into thin air.

The mountains near Rabona were the home for many wild animals. Any traveller that dared to step foot there should go well prepared because he could end up as food for a bear or even a Yoma.
However, that day, those mountains were completely desert of animals, they were not stupid, they could feel that something truly demonic was there.
And they were right, Isley was already there, standing in front of him was Miria, she had her claymore on her hand and was taking a defensive stance.
Isley was surprised by that, that didn’t correspond at what he had heard of Phantom Miria. He had heard that she was an offensive warrior but she was waiting for him to make the first move.

“How audacious.”

Isley corresponded to Miria’s wishes as he dashed forward and attacked her; Isley’s sword went right through Miria’s head. For a second he thought he had killed her but his eyes were hide with amazement as he saw Miria’s image disappearing.

“A Mirage. I don’t remember Eva mentioning this.”

The Abyssal One blocked an attack that came from behind without even turning; he twisted his full body in a devastating strike but Miria kneeled to avoid it and raised her claymore trying to stab Isley.
The Awakened Being jumped back and Miria used the strength of her two legs to launch herself forward with the edge of her claymore pointing in the direction of Isley’s stomach.
The man stepped aside, avoiding the attack and chopped Miria in half.

In a dark chamber of the Organization’s headquarters, Celia, the only claymore from Audrey and Rachel’s group that survived Thelmus’s attack, was standing in front of Rimuto. The girl was clearly very nervous, being a number 35, it was unusual for her to be called to talk with the leader of the Organization.

“Are you sure about that?” said Rimuto “The man really said that his name was Thelmus?”

“Y-yes. He also said that the deal would be off within months and that he and his master would come and destroy us.” Celia answered.

“Ok, child. You can go now.”

Celia bowed and left the chamber, as soon as she did that, Rimuto laid back on his chair, almost falling to the ground.

“So, it’s confirmed then. The dark lord that has appeared in the North is Darkhenus; he is still alive after all this time” Rimuto shouted, covering his face with his hands.

“When was the last time that we have heard of him?” asked other men in black.

“About 100 years ago, right after Isley’s Awakening” answered another.

“If the deal is still acting, then he is an easy prey. I say that we should send Alicia and Beth against his castle in the North before the deal loses its power.” said yet other men in black.

“That would be suicidal, even for Alicia.” said a voice from the shadows.

The men in black looked and they saw Rubel, coming out from the shadows. Apparently, he was the one that had talked.

“Why do you say so, Rubel?” asked Rimuto.

“We now know that Darkhenus is alive and the deal is still on. In those conditions, Alicia would kill him easily but have you not heard Celia?” continued Rubel “Thelmus is also still alive and he isn’t limited by a deal. There is the possibility that Alicia is strong enough to kill Thelmus but, there is also the possibility that she isn’t. And if we lose Alicia, the Organization will be wide open to an attack from Darkhenus’s army. I would say that it isn’t worth the risk.”

Rimuto joined is hand together in reflection, a habit that he had acquired. He was pondering Rubel’s words.
This Rubel, he always was so smart. Should Rimuto trust him?
Still, he was right in that aspect.

“So what do you suggest?” said Rimuto.

“I think that we should train Alicia even more, to the point where we can be sure that she is strong enough to kill even Darkhenus.”

“Yes, you are right Rubel. For now we will train Alicia. You have helped the Organization.” exclaimed Rimuto.

“Glad to know that.” said Rubel with a smile on his face. He composed the hat on his head and turned his back on Rimuto, heading for the door, however, he seemed to remember something because he stopped and raise his finger.

“Ah by the way, where is Ermita? I can’t seem to find him.” he said with his back still turned to Rimuto.

“As soon as I’ve heard that there was a dark lord raising an army of Awakened Beings in the North, I sent Ermita to be our spy inside that army.” said Rimuto who couldn’t see but Rubel’s evil smile was now bigger than ever.

“I don’t trust Ermita.” Rubel said

“And why is that?”

“How can we be sure that he is our spy inside Darkhenus’s army and not the other way around?” was the quick answer.

Rimuto couldn’t answer.
There was no real answer; they couldn’t be sure.

@MisterJB: This was a long chapter which is very good on your part, but there was to much talk and not enough action. I'm thinking that in your next chapter there will be more action, because I have realized that there is a lot of talk in your last few chapters. No offence but that makes the story kind of boring, because after all its Claymore and there is usually a lot of fighting in Claymore.

On to other things. I'm not sure how Eva would know about number one and two because at the time of the war in the north they were a secret to everyone but number three, four, and five. Until Miria found out about them, so I'm guessing Miria told Eva about them?

BTW I really don't think Easley has concubines. He would have eaten them all, I think he is more the type of guy to walk into a bar and take some woman out. Then eat her guts after he is done with her.

Lot's of talking I know. It contrasts with the first four chapters.
Well, next chapter is the end of Isley vs Miria so action is certain. I just don't know if I write good sword vs sword figths. I think I'm better in sword vs freaking ugly monster with claws and tentacles

Let me just start the continuation of this fic and I should get reviews saying
"Less figthing and more characther development" I will try to do both

Well, I thougth that Alicia and Beth were something that every single-digit should know but we can suposse that Galatea told Eva about it.

Ah well. I was expecting Rubel's death to me much more glamorous, with a lot of fighting. But well, I guess this also works. Pretty unexpected. Didn't see it coming

I think that is a really good thing about Miria, you can always write false death scenes and leave readers in expectation.
If Miria is to die, she surely deserves a better death scene
When I kill characthers I always try to develop them a bit before.

Wow! Good technique. In the heat of the moment (you know how it's like when you read battle scenes ) I didn't realize.

That's a good thing. You orchestrated a sense of tension in me (the reader) when you have something further planned.

I'm not too sure what to make of this chapter. Essentially, like Yosei I thought you did a good job building up the tension & suspense, ending with that teasing phrase: "The man stepped aside, avoiding the attack and chopped Miria in half." It's good also because the tension is maintained - and you switch to Rubel & Rimuto.

Perhaps less talk. Isley's introductory dialogue is quite long. Long is fine, just that have them do something. It looks as if Isley & Miria are static & only talking.

2. Yosei's Chapters 24-27:

Some things: I'm surprised Zhou Tai didn't die at Miria's hands. Your diction made the wound sound grievous. But I think it just goes to show that, especially in chapters 25-26, your language & choice of words is astounding. Your descriptive detail is great Not a single word re-used, everything focused down to the very moment, scent & feeling.

The 3-way battle scene is going to overtake the Miria-Dimuzi romp in your previous story as THE trademark Yosei action-sequence. But despite the power of that scene, there's a bit over-emphasis on emotion here. For one, why must Jean have to wait till she batters Helen & Deneve before talking to Clare? Second, this story has made Zhou Tai/ Cynthia a successful pairing because of the reciprocity of both characters. But in this very unusual change, Zhou Tai only relents at the last stage, & their affection seems quite distant here. Lastly, if Cynthia was there to prevent Zhou Tai from awakening, the converse would also be true - that Cynthia could - but I guess you prevented it - prevent Zhou Tai from inflicting more damage when she was free from Flora.

Which begs the uncertain question: that scene is great yes, but why get them to fight for the sake of "following orders" when they would disobey them anyway. Since all of them are such experienced fighters anyway, I think to emphasize the seriousness of the battle, you need to make the circumstances that pushed them into the fight more dire. Both sides use the premise of "following orders" as an excuse to fight, rather than an option for powerlessness.

Also, you might want to explore the "one month later" omission. The treaty, after all that bloodshed, got repaired pretty quickly on the notion of national pride - which ironically, is what got Shu & Wei at each others' throats in the first place.

On other things: I wanted to post a first draft for The Deaths, a 4 chapter fic I'm working on which finally puts Raphaela as the main character, before Monday. But I'm afraid I'm unable to: blame commitments, work & bad time management. And because I'll be gone for a week on a camp, let me apologize in advance for any reviews that I'll have missed during this period (I'm starting to lag behind too). I'll get back to looking at your work once I get back. Thanks

Currently Wei possesses a vast advantage, but the renewed Shu/Wu alliance has effectively brought the nine lesser warriors together.

Alicia is Abissal Level, Wei is without a doubt the strongest faction rigth now. They have guys like Zhang Liao, Xiahou Dun, etc.
Shu lost Guan Yu and Zhang Fhei to get things worse. Probrably the only hope for the Alliance is Zhou Tai, in only one year the guy was able to stand up against Luciela and killed Rigardo.

It would be much smarter if the Three Kingdoms united and with Alicia, Zhou, Clare, Miria, etc, figth against Isley.
In my opinion, they will only learn that when they have an Awakened Lu Bu and a Priscilla killing everything in sigth

Chapter 11: Motives Revealed

Re had continued his mission to find Easley, he had broken into a closed up building which inside looked like some sort of laboritory for an evil genius. While looking around and flashing his light at all the blood stains it was not to long before he realized that he may have found what Galatea was looking for. In his pocket he had a device that Galatea had given him a while back, he looked at it for a second.

* * *

Several days before.

"Whats this for?" Re asked looking at a strage small device that Galatea had handed him.

"Re I have been making you do some very dangreous things, I think you should have this."

"Yes but Galatea I don't know what its for?"

"If anything bad should happen to you, press the red button and it will send a signal to me of your location and I will get there to help you." Galatea said turning around and stepping out of her house. "Plus, I have seemed to have got a soft spot for you now. It would be a shame if anything should happen to you." She said glancing back at him with that wry smile of hers.

"Thank you Miss Galatea."

* * *

Re continued to to search the building, while he realized that he had been stepping in water. He looked down and and pointed his light to the ground to show none other than blood all over the floor. It wasn't normal blood, it was purple.

"This is strange." He thought walking over to a computer that was on.

Re turned on the moniter that was off, and what he saw next sen't chills up his spine.

"What is this?!" He thought again as he looked at the screen.

It was showing him yoma, and young men. It showed failed all across the screen, except for one.

"Are these experiments?" Re whispered. "Experiment eight hundred and eighty-eight, was a pass?"

He took out a memory stick which he had in his pocket and inserted it in the USB drive. He pressed download, and looked at everything on the screen. Next he saw a picture of Priscilla. The experiments had been based off of her.

"This is strange... Looks like they are creating some kind of army?"

After the download was complete he pulled his memory stick out and turned around. Only to see another man standing at the other end of the room.

"Did you see anything you liked?"

Re was shocked. "How long have you been here?"

"Long enough, my name is Easley and you won't make it out of here."

Re grabbed the device that Galatea had given him and he hit the button while trying to escape.

T.J.'s garage.

T.J. had comeback with the 240SX which Flora was going to have to come and get and to give him his Camaro back.

"Hey were the hell did you get that?" J.T. asked seeing the green car.

"Its a friends car. Anyway I hope everything has been going smoothly here?"

"Yeah right! That girl is a monster! She did nothing but complain! She made me drive her to school each day when it was supposed to be you!"

"Oh yeah I had forgot about her, where is she now?"

"She's in the house."

T.J. walked in his house and went into the livingroom, which was now Priscilla's bedroom. "Priscilla what is this?!"

"Oh hi, what do you like it?"

"NO! Clean this place up now!"

"You sounded like my father just now. You grown ups are all the same, you have forgotten what its like to be my age."

"Are you calling me old?!"

Priscilla laughed. "Yeah."

T.J. didn't find this type of humour funny. "Why aren't you in school?"

"Its the summer now school is out which means you will have to put up with me all day everyday for the next two months."

T.J. felt his world crashing around him. "Great...."

"Oh by the way how do you like this new sundress I bought?"

T.J. looked at Priscilla who was wearing a purple sun dress. "Where did you get the money for that?"

"I found some money under your bed and I used that, oh and I have slept in your bed to. Ummmm don't go up there yet I have to clean that up to." Priscilla said giggling.

T.J. turned around and smashed his head off the wall while walking outside. "Great...."

Meanwhile back at the laboritory Galatea was on the scene. She was in her dark clothes which had pieces of golden armor covering her upper body, while she was covered in a silky robe. As she kicked the front door in it was Re that had fallen out from the other side, Galatea quickly caught him. His back had a huge cut going through it, his face was covered in his own blood. She got there just in time.

"Galatea..." Re mumbled. "Their is a real monster in there."

"Re what happened?!"

"Take... This...." Re said giving her the memory stick before he passed out.

"RE!"

Then she saw who had done this to him. It was Easley, she watched him walk into view. He had a smile on his face when he saw Galatea.

"Oh whats this? How did you get here without me noticing?"

Galatea pulled out her sword and held Re with her left arm. She jumped back while blocking an arrow whcih Easley had launched at her. "You won't be getting away that easy."

"This isn't good." Galatea thought.

She jumped up on a building and ran on the roof while jumping to other ones. Easley was following her and it started to look like he was just toying with her. Three more arrows were fired, this time Galatea would not be able to evade them. She closed her eyes waiting for them to come but she heard the sound of metal clashing against them.

Galatea stopped running and quickly turned back. She saw a hooded figure wearing a dark cloak like hers, the person was holding a sword like hers to.

"Its you!" Galatea yelled looking at the symbol on the sword. "Phantom Miria!"

The hooded figure in black glanced back at her and Galatea could see Miria's silver eyes. Then she had dissapeared and any yoki that her body was giving out had gone with her.

"Here's my chance to get away!" Galatea thought as she watched Easley search for Miria.

She jumped off the building she was on and took off in an allyway while hiding her yoki.

After T.J. had closed his shop and J.T. had left Flora had finally shown up with his car.

"Good you got here, I was wondering if you were going to keep it or something."

Flora smiled. "No I wouldn't do that, but where is my car?"

"Its right over there."

As Flora walked to her car she felt something coming from T.J.'s house. "I sence a presence of someone strong." She thought. "Hey T.J. me and my friend feel like racing, where in this city can we go?"

"Its funny you asked me that. I was going to race just now, you can come to if you want and bring your friend."

He followed Flora back to her place where infront of her house he saw a dark blue Mazda RX7. Inside the lights were on, someone was home, Flora took T.J. inside and then he met Miria.

"Hi Miria, were going racing." Flora said as Miria took her to another room.

"Is this the guy that helped you?"

"Yes it is. He is the one I talked about."

"Okay another thing. Flora I was noticed by Galatea today."

"What?!"

"Its okay she didn't follow me or anything she was escaping from Easley and I helped her a bit and went my own way back here."

"Lets forget about it for now, lets just go and have fun now."

Flora and Miria followed T.J.'s Camaro in they're RX7 and 240SX. It wasn't until they realized then after that they were going to be in a highway battle. Eight cars lined up double file in four rows. T.J. was in the back beside a red 2005 Ferrari F430, ahead of him was Flora and beside her was a purple Lamborghini Diablo from the 90's. Ahead of her was Miria and next to her was a silver 2006 Koenigsegg CCX. Then infront of them was a red 2003 Mustang Saleen and a Buick Grand National.

"Man there are some really nice exotic cars here." T.J. thought. "Hey I know those two cars up front."

A man collected money from each driver, and it would all go to the winner. "The fourth turn off will take you to the finish line! Over there more people will be waiting and then I'll show up there with the money!" He yelled as he dropped his arms and all the cars took off and flew by him.

The F430, the Diablo, and the CCX were really fast as they past everyone and started to run off with the lead. T.J. watched as Miria and Flora stayed behind him. He looked in the window of the Mustang and saw who was driving it. It was that kid named Sid, and that other one named Galk in the Grand National.

"This is going to be a hard race." T.J. thought as he hit the NOS and started to catch up to the three cars infront of him.

He made it up to the three exotic cars infront and held his postion as he looked up in the rear view mirrior only to see the 240SX and the RX7 battling with the Mustang and the Grand National.

"These guys infront are going to wreck each other." T.J. thought looking at his speed which was now 260 kms/h and climbing. "This is getting scary!"

It was as what T.J. had thought had come true. He watched the F430 clip the CCX which then cliped the Diablo and they both spun out and fipped over. T.J. slowed down as he watched all three drivers fly out of they're cars from not wearing they're seatbelts. They flew fifty feet only to be run over by a couple of semi trucks.

"Holy shit!" T.J. yelled stopping at the shoulder of the road and getting out of his car.

He watched the three cars land on all four wheels and they slid into a ditch almost unharmed. Then he saw Flora and Miria fly by him and he waved at them as they kept going.

T.j. pulled out a cellphone and called for three flatbeds. "Yeah my Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Koenigsegg are stuck in a ditch out here on the second highway. I need someone to pick them up you'll see me right away I'm by my red Camaro." He said hanging up. "Wow I just lost a few hundred dollars but if these guys are quick I'll have some really nice exotic cars."

Then he saw Sid and Galk fly by him and no one seemed to notice what happened to the three drivers that crashed, seeing how it was night time and not many people were on the highway now.
Flora and Miria raced each other passed the third turn off, they had no idea what happened and kept on racing. They thought they had lost the race already with those other three cars ahead of them but little did they know that they were the leaders. They raced each other off the fourth turn off and started to slow they're speeds so they wouldn't end up flying off the road. It wasn't to long after that they were reaching the finishline.

Miria then passed Flora and stayed ahead of her. Flora came back though and got beside her but she did not have the time as Miria one the race by a wheel. They stopped they're cars and slid for a few seconds. Next behind them Sid and Galk were racing eachother, with Sid in what used to be Raki's Mustang beat Galk.

"Alright I finally have a good car take that Galk!"

"I'm never going to hear the end of this." Galk thought closing his eyes as he came to a stop.

It wasn't much longer until T.J. had come across the line in his Camaro. Then a white Pontiac Grand Prix came across the line several minutes later. It was the man who had the money. Another man went up to him and told him that it was Miria that won the race and he went to her and gave her eight thousand dollars cash.

"Wait I won?!" Miria said shocked. "What about those other cars?!"

"Yes there was no way that we could have beat them." Flora said surprised.

"Yeah they must have crashed out or something, somewhere." T.J. said putting his arms around them and taking them back to they're cars. "Now lets get out of here quick, just incase the cops show up or something."

"Hey T.J. what happened to you?" Flora asked. "I saw you parked on the road."

"Oh I was having some engine problems. Don't worry it seems to have gone away for some reason."

Meanwhile back at Galatea's, she had Re resting in her own bed away from everyone else and she was on her computer in the same room looking at everything that Re had gathered up.

"What are you planning Easley?" She thought as she looked at all the failed experiments.

Then she saw it. "Who is this? Experiment eight hundred and eighty-eight, T.J. was a pass? Who is this?"
Then it hit her. "Easley is creating an army, the first one that was a pass must be the prototype for all of the others...."

Back at T.J.'s shop.
T.J. followed Flora and Miria home and stayed with them for a bit before going back to his place where he now had a Lamborghini Diablo, a Koenigsegg CCX, and a Ferrari F430 waiting for him in his parking lot, keys and all and slightly damaged.

"I'll just take off the lisence plates and fix up these cars and they will be mine and no one has to know." He said rubbing his hands together. "I have always wanted to have some exotic cars that I could add to my collection!"

He put them in his garage along with his other three cars and locked them up. Then he went into his house which was surprisingly really clean from what he had seen in the morning, and Priscilla was sleeping on the floor.

"Hmmm mabye she won't be much trouble after all." He thought picking her up and putting her on the couch.

hell: Good chapter. The plot is moving forward which is good. The descriptions of the cars continue to amaze me. You even put my favorite car there (Lamborghini Diablo).
I also found hilarious the dialogue between Priscila and TJ. He was really smart, stealing all those cars

I like the Diablo to, its to bad that Lamborghini stopped making them.
