Honestly, aside from the whole sunlight thing, I'd also think that the cramped tunnel space would be rather detrimental to her titan form's mobility.

The biggest hint was her face... rofl, but what threw me off is that she wasn't well notice at a human, because I was already bias that everyone was going to die except for the main cast.

Annie is a good person, but she has a different belief than they do. She couldn't trust them fully to go down with them, which was sad.

I'm still puzzle about allowing Armin to live a while back in her giant form. Was it because of friendship or she took a liking to him?

^Yeah, I'm leaning towards Annie having valued her friendship with Armin, as well. Or just about any of the people she trained with, for that matter (after all, she didn't kill Eren either, did she?).

I already pointed out the most biggest hints before, though: Chiefly that it was implied early in the fight that Armin had already figured out who she was. She was even distracted when he claimed that she killed Eren, who he didn't actually name directly. He referred to him as "the guy who was in a hurry to die", and "best friend", which was way too specific to be mere coincidence. Another thing to point out is that as a titan she slaughtered most of the "unknown" scouting legion members with no hesitation whatsoever..... but not those who she knew as her fellow trainees (like Armin and Eren, as was already mentioned). The clues were pretty much there all along.....

^Speaking of the drama, I find it amusing that Eren was still filled with trepidation about fighting Annie when even freaking Armin was prepared to kill her. Armin, who started out as the most cowardly character in the series. Damn, the guy really went through a lot of growth in a relatively short amount of time.....

That being said, aside from Eren kicking her ass (speaking of which, that uppercut was damned epic), I hope Mikasa and Rivaille team up to gang-rape Annie next chapter, too.

haegar mangaviking Join Date: Jun 2009	Spoiler for latest chap talk: good chapter though I did hope things would progress a tad further, basically we got cliffhangerII right after cliffhangerI also, I do feel this was a tad "stretched": last chapter already featured Eren trying to come to terms with Annie's identity, and yet again we get so many pages for his decision process which in the end is concluded by Mikasa forcing him to act anyways... If this only got stretched out to heighten the drama I don't like it - though it might have it's reason if lateron Eren actually tries to "save" Annie somehow... in that case it would be important to show how he struggles with fighting against her here ... __________________

I wonder if its just me, but does Eren x Annie seem right for you guys or Armin? Totally bad@ss when Annie was tied up by the group of men. haegar mangaviking Join Date: Jun 2009	Spoiler for ch 32: concerning Armin being tough when it comes to Annie, consider he was watching as she literally stepped on his comrades, and that he is the one who was suspecting her for the longest time already, and that the bits of info that corobated his suspicions got to him bit by bit... he had a long time of getting used to the fact she is what she is and coming up with a decisive attitude towards her... __________________
