It's likely Punished Snake is not Big Boss (the "horn", the missing arm, the scar on the left eye... could be Kojima retconning stuff but I doubt it) but him being Gray Fox seems a bit too far-fetched. And people should really stop obsessing with Hayter... he's not Big Boss anymore, deal with it.

Oh he's Big Boss. Just because he looks like that now doesn't mean he'd stay that way for good.

Limitations of technology at the time could have made removing the "horns" dangerous; and he'll likely get a new arm from Les Enfants Terribles or whatever before long.

I disagree with the video entirely, didn't even commented on the youtube channel, it's just the horn/shrapnel thing dscusion leading that it might be Frank Jeager. The only thing I know that in the original MG game MSX we don't see a portrait of BigBoss we only Solid Snake. If ever possible if they remake MG1 into 3D I think Bigboss will look older and has gray hair and has those horns. But in MG 2 Solid Snake he looks like the Bigboss we all know.

At this rate, if there's enough demand, Kojima may decide to also remake MGS2 and 3 with future engines. Perhaps this revelation is indicative that remakes of MG1 and 2 will be done as well, eventually.

That's no surprise since in an interview he wants others to do the remakes and not him. But why MGS1? He should be doing Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake.

I'm actually wondering what Kojima has in store, if anything, post MGS4. I guess the story is essentially over and all there is left to tell is Big Boss' story, but...having Solid Snake turn into an old man because of his accelerated aging always left me a bit dejected. At least he and Big Boss have that conversation at the end I guess.
