Well that sounds like a fun pairing for the comedy bits. Don't know about how that would be for the mystery stuff.

(Wasn't Clannad and K-On, Pony Canyon and not Kadowawa?)

We'll probably find that out when solicitations from Kadokawa come out. There's enough material for 2 cours, so that remains a possibility. I'm curious if/when we'll see a PV. There might be a chance next week given that they're updating the site weekly.

Side note that's somewhat relevant: Congratulations to Supervisor Takemoto on the birth of his daughter this week!

They'll be adapting more than just Hyouka. Though they've called the series Hyouka, their site uses the Kotenbu, or Classics Club, title to refer to the whole series. Not having read the series, I can't attest to how many they'll adapt if they don't decide to adapt all of them.

Check two more off for returning from Clannad as additional cast was announced today.
Satsuki Yukino (雪野五月): Tomoe Oreki
Ryotaro Okiayu (置鮎龍太郎): Masashi Togaito
Yukana (ゆかな): Fuyumi Irisu
Mami Koyama (小山茉美): Youko Itoigawa

Now all three male leads from Clannad have returned for Hyouka.

I'm not exactly excited for this, since I've disliked quite a lot of Kyoani projects in the past, but my favorite genre in anime is mistery so...I will certainly check this out.
