The only Shirley endings in all of the grand total of 3 Geass games currently released are the first season DS one. That ending involves you using the wrong Geass command on her after the Mao incident to cause her to forget everything (and by that I mean her entire memory and sense of being is gone leaving her a drooling vegetable) and ends with Lelouch abandoning the Knights his revenge and everything in order to live away from everybody and take care of the now braindead Shirley by himself. Not exactly a happy ending.

Also if you don't stop her from shooting you then she kills Lelouch and then herself so she can be with him, also not a happy ending.

And finally if you do something else Shirley decides to turn against Lelouch and doesn't shoot Villetta instead joining with her and turning Zero in. As a result Shirley and her family get much wealth and status in the Britannian world while Lelouch ends up at the mercy of Charles.

Those are the 3 endings involving Shirley. In the only actual "good" ending she's nowhere to be found.

...Already, I'm having images of her being haunted day and night in the aftermath of the 3rd ending.

Well, I just can't see the 3rd one happening at all. I mean, her love for Lelouch should be unquestionable. I don't see how she could live with herself if she did something like that.

I think the first one is probably my favorite (if I had to pick one) because, as I said before, they're together and there's always the chance her mind could recover. But also I think it shows just how much Lelouch cares since he would abandon his life's work in order to take care of Shirley (of course I suppose the guilt factor does come into play...........again)

The second one is basically what happens in show anyway, just a lot sooner. Only Lelouch dies first and Shirley actually does commit suicide.

Yep, I had thought of that too. Also it's possible that, after enough, she could override the geass by will alone just as Nunnally did.

Speaking of the game endings, however, you do get a happy ending for Shirley in the Lost Colors, if you get her ending in the Ashford Academy Route. In her ending, she ends up being Lelouch's date at the school festival, so I guess that's what you'd call a happy ending.

How so? Lost Colors' continuity is different from the anime, so nothing should have happened (mind you, this festival takes place after when the Black Rebellion should have happened chronologically, except the Black Rebellion doesn't occur in the Ashford Route.) So there should be no reason for Shirley to be alone after the festival.

You know: On how Lelouch would choose one out of the girls (assuming if he even chooses). There is more than one in the running, and they all have points for and against them. How can it not become a shipping war with us on this side of the screen?

By being civil about it. Shipping only becomes a war when the insults and derogatory remarks the like start flying.
