For a Demon Queen, she’s sure has that “home-y” complexion. My problem to that artwork is, she doesn’t look that dignified or even smart enough to rule all the demons on the land with her intelligence. Even though they don’t follow the manga’s design, why can’t they made her eyes (at least) look a little bit aggressive instead of that “motherly” gaze?

I wonder if her character in the original LN is more gentle/softer than in the manga.

Her character in the LN is the same because hte manga is based on it but the artwork is different.

That is the artwork of the novel.

No, Max. Purist won’t hate you coz her anime design is the one that represent the original Novel.

I just prefer her manga design coz it's able to show that she’s a strong, sexy and energetic queen almost effortlessly.
