Seriously, considering the strongest military weapons are the pilots (especially the representative ones who are powerful enough to get their custom IS), but let's face it, anyone here right now isn't watching this show for serious plot anyway haha.

Spoiler for possible minor spoilers:

well she is a British aristocrat(and not a tsundere either) who loves to win. She does see her self above the "commoners" students , though she does help them out alot in various things though she does it out of a sense of belief that nobles should help commoners because nobility are just that much better than the common populace.
Appears at first to be the stereotypical Rich chick but actually has some hidden depth to her character. She used to like her father, but due to the change in society's change of view towards women in the new Female dominant society her father has become meek and submissive to her mother she began to despise her father. Vowing to never marry a weak and submissive man, she of course falls for the MC because of his display of blunt hotbloodness during combat. Though she initially dislikes the MC for disrespecting her lineage and of Britain(the MC cracks a couple of jokes poking fun at Britain and how shitty their food is...lol). Though she soon realizes that this is exactly the type of man she's been searching for.

If the bolded is true...then I'm going to love this series. A lead who's not afraid of insulting or afraid of combat.

But I think that we only have mock battles in the light novel so far. So is there anything called "plot" in the light novel ?. As I checked volume 5, there is only fan service there.

There's no real battles yet? only mock battles? no war?...... It's kinda tiring if their is no series of war battles. A true one. What's the use of IS if it's only pure light training and mock battles.

There's still the possibility of anime-only material which'll have actual battles, given how short the anime would obviously be compared to the novels.

Theirs already 5 volumes but not much real life threatening fights yet.... Even if it's girls wielding powerful weapons I much prefer sky girls or strike witches over this one. Though both are not novels.... then hidan no aria. First volume starts with the main character in a life threatening situations already....

Though I would still watch this. But I prefer if theirs a real OPPONENT or STORY. Story really drives me on reading or watching stuff. I don't care much about fan service. Their aren't a plus or minus for me but too much and the story turns to crap then that's a minus for me.

Mai Otome was like that (anime-wise), isn't it? First half was about light hearted humour + school, last 10 eps was pure drama and war.

She is A DFC to start(its one of her berserk button), The representative from china. Cooks awesome food. One of the MC's childhood friends, Houki being the other. Houki doesn't know about Rinyin because she became the MC's friend after Houki 's family moved out. The MC often eats at her family's restaurant. Went back to china one year due to family issues before the start of the story and returns as one of the Chinese representative send to the Academy. A CQC powerhouse armed with powerful close range assault weapons and devastating oversized melee weapon (a large double sided Dragon Crescent moon Blade- Guan yu's weapon but darth Maul style ).

Just read the recent manga on Comic alive, really funny to see how houki can remove her kendogi (the upper part) when she still have her hakama on which particularly weird for a kendoka

BTW seeing the main character in his IS seem very wrong to me, may be he lack of some certain parts in the chest area
