Yea this author is known to be very hard to work with and has chased off 2 illustrators and caused the cancellation of another manga. I'm staying away from any of his works from now on, I might not have hated the ending as much as some people but this author is on my no read list from now on.

Yea no alternative ending it was a misunderstanding on my part, the entire volume was normal slice of life stuff until the last two chapters. Very strange my moneys on he chased away this illustrator too so the publisher just told him to end it with this one.

Are there Infos why he chased away two illustrators or why is it hard to work with Tomohiro Matsu?
And which Manga was cancelled? The Main Manga for Papa no iukoto o kikinasai? I mean Mayoi Neko OVerrun was stopped because Yabuki.

The reason Mayoi Neko was canceled, from what I've heard, was publishing rights they got into a argument/fight the artist left and couldn't continue the series. Apparently, again this is second hand information from another forum so I could be off, he's obnoxious and doesn't play well with others.

Its a little sad thats the Raika Spin off has 4 Volumes ongoing and more Volumes then the Main Manga. Raika Spin off is not bad but also not good.

Okay, i decided to read some spoilers on papakiki wikia, and when i saw that Yuta ended with Sora, i was like "WTF"... Then i decided to watch OVA, and my reaction was

I was happy, since i like endings like that (wedding, conclusion to the romance (yes, i'm still waiting for that Bakuman chapter)), so my face was also like this

Buuut, even though i didn't follow the original anime per se, i still wanted him to end up with Raika, but no...

This LN was pretty high on my to read list (either when translated or when i learn japanese), but now, it's out of it, and unless something drastic happens, like author saying that he wrote that ending under a gunpoint by a crazed YutaxSora fan, and makes a new volume 18 with YutaxRaika ending, it's going to stay out!!!

By the way which Volumes has a limited Version?
I have 16,17 and 18 in the limited Version. I know 13 has one but are there more volumes?
