I forgot where i read it but that theory goes like this, Saitama never report the monster he defeats, King get the credit for a few of them, since the HA doesn't know who kill the rest they assume is a mistery hero so they created "Blast" to take the credit.

But the fact that the HA actually seems to have had contact with Blast at least once in the past, unlike Saitama, it seems unlikely. Wasn't there some kind of dialogue about Blast in the manga? I forgot details, but I remember it coming up in this thread not too long ago.

I mean why would he be given extra screen time? Some random side-character who has seeminly no impact on the story getting bonus scenes makes no sense. So I suspect that guy may be more than it seems.

Hm... Maybe in the anime, but if i remember it right that Glasses Worker was present when Kid Emperor was testing his gadget to gauge power levels.

The normal for rank C heroes was 100 points and I believe Glasses worker's level had 20 points or something like that but then i believe he had about the same points as Fubuki.

The score was 22 but it wasn't glasses. It was a random worker from the HA.

In the manga no one has clearly stated that they've met him. Glasses guy is just some guy to represent all the nameless characters in the manga. He's probably some up and coming voice actor they're pushing plus they're saving money from having to animate and design all the character's he represents.

Going by leaked episode titles and synopses, it will end with the Boros Arc, which should take the next three episodes. If we get a second series sooner rather than later, it should be another cour or so and will probably take us to the end of the Garou Arc. Two cours, if they want to add in all of the "filler" from the redraw.

The manga doesn't have that much meat on it if we're being honest Murata's version is just glamour and the version from One blazes through arcs quickly it's no surprise the anime will probably end a little after the Boros arc, I'm guessing they'll shoehorn in Fubuki's "recruitment" fight or go for King's origin maybe, depending if it's gonna be 12 or 13 episodes.

It's very rare for a series to go from 1 cour to 2 so I'm guessing season 2 will stay at 1 since the way the manga is crawling along 2 cours is just unfeasible.

Even with the new content I think the whole Garou arc should still fit well in one cour. The manga is just way to slow paced and lots of pages just end up being action scenes that happen quickly on the anime.

What? Source please because the manga sales(the only sales that matter) have sold 1+ million from just 2014-2015. If anything I've read nothing but praise from the anime and the recent arc of the manga so whoever told you that is either full of shit or trolling you. Haven't heard a peep from the anime sales but it doesn't matter since if the manga keeps selling well(and they are) the anime sales don't matter since it's just a glorified commercial anyway and the studio already has it's money.

Im kind of curious about one thing, why don't they just team up One with Murata? If one is such a lousy artist, just get a good artist to work with him, letting him focus just on the story. Its basically what happens with To Love Ru and most of Im Dal and Nisosin's works.

One has his own series. It's just happened that OPM gained popularity.

Thing is it is a hobby for both these guys. They do have one shot collaborations.
