This season is looking pretty good at first glance.
Definitely watching Railgun S - I mean come on more Mikoto is always good and this arc should be intense. Arata Kangatari - Enjoyed the manga so eager to see how the anime turns out for this. Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride - First season was fun, so this one should be as well. Devil Survivor 2 - Haven't played the game it is based on, but I like the series in general so a must see for me. Shingeki no Kyogin - I like the premise behind it. A few series have this kind of epic feel to them, but this one stands out for me. Ore no Imouto - Well I saw the first season so on to the next one. Honestly seems like a good season. A good amount of new series so hopefully a few things stand out.

Hmm ... well, I dunno. As odd as it may sound I don't have as many expectations going into the spring 2013 as I did in the winter 2013, but that is an aside.
That being said: Red Data Girl is the only new series that I am really looking forward to atm. Girls und Panzer too, of course. Others I am kinda curious about include: Photo Kano Ore no Imouto S2 Yuyushiki Namiuchigawa (such an absurd storyline means to me that this will prolly either be really well done or incredibly bad) Railgun S Asian Richidan Danchi Tomoo Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge (another absurd storyline that'll prolly be real good or horrible) Aiura Hanasaku movie looks interesting though. ^^ And that's about it, not much else interests me at the moment. :\

I usually watch 20+ series each season and this will be no different. The most notables for me are:
Date a Live: As a light novel reader I am super excited for this. Railgun S: This will be great assuming nothing gets changed. Devil Survivor 2: Haven't played the game but a huge fan of SMT, plus Kamiyan so why not? Hyakka Ryouran S2: More samurai girls is never a problem. Haiyore Nyaruko-san W: More Nyaruko is enough to get me excited. My dark horse for the season is: Hataraku Maou-sama!: This seems fun so this could be my GJ-Bu in terms of surprises.

Every season I promise myself not to watch to many ongoings but still...
100% watching(or at least try to watch more than 1 series): Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S Cause I liked the first seasons Shingeki no Kyojin Devil Survivor 2 Suisei no Gargantia Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge Red Data Girl Cause they look promising 100% not watching Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 2000% Kingdom 2 Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live Hayate no Gotoku! (2013) Cause I don't care about previous seasons As for all other titles — I'll try first eps. Maybe I'll take couple of them too

Will probably keep an eye on:
Shingeki no Kyojin Date A Live Suisei no Gargantia And more than anything else, Girls und Panzer. Sadly not a lot of series here that I'm particularly interested in, at first glance.

The ones that I'm sure that I'll love are Railgun S, Shingeki no Kyojin and Aku no Hana. I'm definitely looking forward to Oreimo 2, The new Gen show, Red Data Girl and of course Azazel's second season.

For the most part this season has been a complete waste of time so I can't wait for March to hurry up and get here. At the moment it looks fairly promising. These are the titles that I'm personally looking forward to:
✿ Aruvu Rezuru - Kikai Jikake no Yousei-tachi: Even though it was initially slated to be a series I think it will work better in this shorter format. It's a tight, well written story that isn't like anything else out there at the moment. I hope they don't ruin the story by inserting any pandering quasi-incestuous nonsense. ✿ Kidou Senshi Gundam Unicorn 06: It's Gundam, enough said. ✿ RDG: Red Data Girl: P.A. Works + Tragedy = A Happy Me ✿ Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Deja Vu: I thought the television series was well done so I'm looking forward to what they do with this. ✿ Aku no Hana: The manga was interesting enough to keep my attention so I'll give its adaptation a try. I thought the way it incorporated the spirit of Baudelaire's works was fascinating. Hopefully the anime won't tone down any of the more . . . festive . . . aspects of the manga. ✿ Ginga Kikoutai: Majestic Prince: The character designs are absolutely ghastly (thank you, Hisashi Hirai), but the premise seems amusing. ✿ Kakumeiki Valvrave: My most anticipated title of the season. I'm a glutton for sci-fi mechs series and this is a Sunrise original. ✿ Suisei no Gargantia: My second most anticipated title of the season simply because Gen Urobuchi is handling the script. I'll give anything he's involved in a try. I'm not at all interested in the seemingly obligatory plethora of visual/light novel adaptations or the ecchi nonsense. To each their own, of course. I'm just happy to see so many sci-fi and mecha shows in next season's line-up.

Oreimo S2 - Must watch for Kuroneko fan anyway. Railgun S - Long awaited sequel. Now Index S3 after this? Hentai Ouji - Just to watch how J.C. Staff ruin another LN. RDG - P.A. Works... Yahari Ore no Seishun (...) - Haven't start the LN actually, heard really good review. Photokano - Just b/c I've played the game. Although I'm not a fan of the main heroine (Haruka)...oh well, doubt there will be Kanon route either. Oh well, watching this for Mai. HnG S3 - Just b/c I need something to bashed week to week. Maybe: Date a Live: Another good LN...just no clue whether I've the time Shingeki no Kyojin - Not sure if I have the time And of course, the last 2 episodes of Garupan.

Hyped for:
Attack on Titan - The manga is soooo good, Sawano's doing the music, Kaji's the lead and the PV looked great! Devil Survivor 2 - Loved the first game and more animated Yasuda designs is always welcome. Definitely watching: Valverave the Liberator - Ohsaka's time to shine? Kimura as the other protag is good too. Hataraku Maou-sama! - Sounds fun, plus more Ohsaka! Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Bride - Rather enjoyed the first season despite having some issues with it. Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE 2000% - DOKI DOKI DE KOWARESOU To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S - First season was disappointing and boring, but this one might not be since it's covering what I wanted from Railgun in the first place. Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge - Synopsis was appealing enough + I liked Natsuki Hanae in Tari Tari. Will try: Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet: Gen's name should make it a definite, but I'm not sure yet. Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince: Would've been a definite watch if it weren't for my huge dislike towards Hirai's fugly designs. The rest of the show has to convince me to put up with the ugly characters. Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru - Eh, can't hurt to try. I like Eguchi and Hayamin too. Karneval - No idea how this'll turn out but it seems like it could be good. Aku no Hana - The manga was not for me but I'm curious how they'll handle the anime, especially with all the claims of using rotoscoping, etc. Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko - Trying solely for Kaji. Date A Live - May as well try. Red Data Girl - May as well try. |

Ok, let's do our quarterly tradition of sharing what we want to follow for the next three months shall we?
Absolutely must watch even if sleep times must take a hit: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 Sounds way to awesome not to underwhelm me but I really want to be proven wrong: Shingeki no Kyojin Want to watch because someone/some studio behind it almost ensures I will: Suisei no Gargantia RDG: Red Data Girl Will probably watch if time allows me to: Devil Survivor 2 The Animation Kakumeiki Valvrave Want to watch but hell will probably freeze over before I can even "acquire" it: Gekijouban Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Deja vu This one doesn't even count cause I wouldn't miss it for the world: Girls und Panzer And that's it. Sounds like we have a very interesting season coming our way. Couple that with virtually all the shows I'm currently watching nearing their ends I'm glad to be able to pick up almost everything I'm interested in this time. I should however pick Jojo back up. The show was awesome but I ended up stalling it due to a lack of time. I really need some vacations

Shows with Osananajimi
Red Data Girl - at first I was gonna dismiss this, because I thought Miyuki was a girl. XD Photo Kano - please not omnibus :crosses fingers: Ore Imo S2 - Just wanna see how far they go in the light novels, like if they gonna coordinate the novel end with the anime end (because really, from what I have read of Manami... lol) Attack on Titan - not related sister? I'll take it Samurai Girls - one of those 'true harem' shows. Can't muster up to watch it even with Sen there Mecha shows Valverave the Liberator - I have no idea why I am anticipating this so highly. Maybe because the only reason why I got through SEED and Destiny is because of the music? And I like TM Revolution and Angela. Suisei no Galgantia - c'mon, hopefully this becomes a grim dark mecha show Ginga Kikoutai - I'm being judgemental here by saying it would be the worst of the three just because of the character designer, even though Valverave seems to be the most like SEED plotwise lol Adaptations Hataraku Maou-sama - Hikasa as a tsundere? Count me in Hentai Ouji - I fell in love when Ogura said "Yappari Hentai-san, desu ne?" lol Dansai Buri no Crime Edge - Intrigued by the premise. How is a pair of scissors so important to the plot? Aku no Hana - This has Yandere written all over it. And oh boy, I do love my Yanderes XD Joujou Sennin - The manga art is certainly unique, and the 'work hard' attitude of the main guy reminds me of Kenichi Stuff I'm going to avoid like the plague (most probably) Hayate no Gotoku - Oh my lord, I couldn't stand the new character at all. Arata Kangatari - Watase Yuu is probably the most notorious in my black list of "osananajimi slayers", only being behind maybe Takahashi Rumiko. Like they lost in every manga Watase did save maybe ZK, and even then that was more like by default Kinda sad though I don't see Okada Mari working at all this cour.
