Well, in terms of being subordinate to Zest, that doesn't necessarily mean she's weaker than him. She could be double his power level, for all we know, but if he is named leader because he has the better head for small-unit tactics & command, he'd still be her superior in a mission. Hell, theoretically an SS+ rank mage could be the subordinate to a C-rank one if the C-ranker is higher up on the chain and has better leadership skill.

Personally though, I like to assume Quint and Zest were pretty much equal in terms of power and combat skill.

The thing is, Quint and Megane(who supposedly is on par with Quint according to Vivid Ch16) captured by the Numbers is the major reason Zest got distracted and died to Cinque, but still costed Cinque an eye(which she chose to not restore).

Can't really see two S-rank just getting beaten like that.

Okay, the English Nanoha Wiki on Quint says she is Ground AA, directing source to the Japanese Nanoha StrikerS Wiki, I see the JapaneseWiki list her as Ground AA, but no further source from it.

Is there still additional content in the TV series (I made my friend watch episode 1-6 where Nanoha and Fate met in the city and are clashing over the Jewel Seed, but I was thinking he can start watching the movie.

Now this is an odd tidbit I came across in the Nanoha wiki:

I've never heard of this particular tidbit before during all my time here, and the page to the DVD Booklet translations in the wiki containing the article on limiters doesn't mention that.

Is there a credible source that might have spawned that particular tidbit?

I have never seen this elsewhere, imo the limiters are pure political, since the TSAB have no problem playing with energy generators with powers beyond even the most competent mage, and magic have been displayed as the "clean source of energy" through out the series.

I don't remember were this is from but does anyone know if there are any mentions of Nanoha only taking on the next mage rank up exam once she is certain she will pass and that Fate only takes the next rank up when Nanoha does?

I don't think she dose. fate failed it once or twice because of nanoha's injury.

That's her Enforcer exam, not mage rank. (StrikerS manga c03 p16)

I meant that their is no mention. As far as I know the only mention of the exams are in episodes 1-2.

Quint Nakajima's wiki article has a suspect statement of saying that Nove's genes were taken from Subaru, rather than Quint's. There any truth to this, or is this another fuck-up?

NOt sure since it doesn't mention in the anime about nove and subaru being related. However I doubt it since it was probably taken from when quint was killed

According to 00-Raiser, it's a fuck-up. Nove's gear was based on Subaru's gear, rather than DNA. Far as I know, Nove's still created from Quint.

Or all of the information about Hayate and Wolkenritter’s over classified, so that it knows about 3-4 people(the higher ranks of the TAB), and direct witnesses (and the participants) of the Arthra crew? 3) If I may ask, how is written completely Fate incantation?
4) Zafira, in ID Card StrikerS written: Zafila, in supplementary material written: Zafila, in guide?(mini book-guide?) nested in a box to the game for PSP - the BATTLE of ACES written: Zafila(but the game itself is written Zafira). Question - it is usual Japanese R and L? Or it’s real Zafila?
