One of my current projects is to take a picture every day for a year and post them on my non-anime weblog. Some examples:

More pictures I took and would like to share. Figured I'd put them in a desktop size this time.
This is in my backyard: Also my backyard. We shot fireworks off for my birthday. This is down at the park near my house. ----- I like the pictures of the lightning, made me want to try to get a shot of one.

A few pictures taken with a Sony Ericsson K810i. The pictures are quite nice for a mobile phone ^^
I kinda liked the blur on this one. Academic library in Leuven, Belgium We don't often get a beautiful blue sky without a single cloud here. Well... that's a Belgian cow :3 Shot with a Canon Powershot IS S2 |

I took a picture of the sky by chance and really liked how it came out. Liked it enough that it's now my desktop wallpaper.
Shot with Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT

Thanks for the compliments everyone!
@reisan - Yes that's my dog. Unfortunatly her health has taken a turn for the worse lately. I don't know how much longer she's going to be around. Also to compliment matradley's bee photo here's a photo of a honey bee in action:

The "digital camera the size of a cell phone" thread got me back into posting some of my photos. Since it's now close to the end of leaves season here, here are a few of these from this year. These are from Kamakura's Engaku-ji earlier today. Too many temples in Kamakura to visit on one day, and way, IMHO, too many tourists.
The camera used is a Nikon D-200 D-SLR with the VR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G lens; the settings are listed separately The "trees overlooking the pond" image has been cropped to minimize the size of the file after saving as a JPEG. (Note to self: Have to find a better way to convert, save, and upload digital photos after converting from RAW. ) (at 1/80 secs and f/4.8) (at 1/125 secs and f/11) (at 1/200 secs and f/11)
