His power-up is nowhere near similar to the manga's power-up. The manga version made him look less like a suit of knightly armor and move more towards a humanoid dragon. The anime just gave him wings and a super saiyan aura. The wings didn't even make sense, since he'd been flying around the entire episode without needing them anyway.

What is with all the hate towards the anime?? This was a great episode. I personally think it was good anime. We all knew Tatsumi was going to die it was just a matter of when and how. I hope he stays dead for better effect. He went out like a boss. He died just like I always wanted. Showed his true power and crippled the Empire. I hope they dont bring him back or something like that.

well, it seems like the previous leaked ending is true.

akame vs esdeath: akame activates murasame's trump card: injects the curse into herself and becomes a berserker. Esdeath cannot match, loses one arm and finally gets defeated. Esdeath holds tatsumi's body and passes away. Both of them turn into ice and melt.

Leone manages to kill the PM but is very badly injured. Dies eventually.

I think people were pretty hard on the anime anyways because they are going full anime original ending so there won't be any chance for an adaptation for the rest of the manga later. Anything it does at this point will be looked at harshly. Not that I'm surprised. Have been in that position knowing the original material won't be completely adapted and not been happy about it.

It was an interesting move and if they stick with it will be quite the end for Tatsumi.

Anyway, back to AgK. After all the hype, Budo better show why he's considered to be on par with Esdeath. We still don't really have that much information about his teigu either. However I'm more interested in the new move that Esdeath mentioned. It should have at least Mahapadma's strength, otherwise there is little point in mentioning it.

Well it is a tragic story.

I guess we should prepare because the manga will probably have an ending along the same lines with everyone getting killed.

I wonder if there is an afterlife in the Akame ga Kill universe, if there is then everyone will be reunited there, ending the story on a slightly lighter tone.

It would make everyone dying, not such a bad ending.

I guess the death ending being bad or good depends on a person. For me personally an afterlife ending is a bit cheesy, but honestly I'd be happy to see that too haha
