Her village have the same fate of the village that she attack. I start to wonder (if the traslation not explain that) if is not the PM that allow that to happen some how. Also so in the end her teigu is the mark or the scarf? because this ch make the thing about her teigu pretty confusing. And that pag with some one like her and the man with the scar...I don't think i get it if that one was again a flash back or something that happen now with some one that look like her. Though,from her thought from ch 26 seem to me she really know him. And make me think that one was a flash back as well.

Also she make tatsumi touch her mark before the whole flash back scene.Although is probally just some one that look like her and that pag show us that the man with the scar is inside the capital
Though if the girl only look like Esdes then ,that scene explain pretty much that the man don't like Edes too much or something along that line even if we understand what happen before.

Talking about traslation I wonder if they will wait the next vol before traslate. I mean next ch is the last on of vol 5 if I recall right. I hope they don't need to wait the next vol before traslate the next ch and catch up with the last raw out(ch 27).

correct me if i'm wrong. This ch show us that Esdes do become someone important for him but not love(?) I mean i really don't see anything that would point out on that. But only that he respect her now and not really hate her like before. basically what you already say.Although this ch was a big death flag. Is like a set up for her deminse. Wich mean the next meeting will be what you say. And i bet for the sink Honestly the author set up Esdes to teach a tatsumi the lesson that monster born from event like that(like the one in Esdes Flash back). And that not all the monster are like we think. I have to admit this ch really make me like her more and at the same time dislike her more (honestly,Esdes can you stop to make me feel like this)

Hmmm... I haven't read any of spoilers, but from some of comments it sounds like Esdese gets a bit backstory/flashback in the near future.

If that's case, I want to point out that a flashback does not necessary equal death. This only held true Braht and Schere. Mein, Akame, Leone and even Seryuu have all had one and yet they're still around. So, I think Esdese will still be in cast till the end of series, especially given her ties to Tatsumi.

Is not that i deny that. But i still think can't work. I mean he understand why she is like this understand that he can't change her and we see he last word.But like I say I don't see reaction from him that would point out he start to fall for her or being in love. And we know full well that the author will always point out this one. Yet he almost the same a before minus that he care about her. But this don't mean that he will not suffer for what he need to do. Or when she will die. I think the same can be said for Brath when he kill River or for Akame when she will had to kill/fight Kurome.

Iron Maw@ Trust me this ch sound more like a set up for her demise that anything else. You will understand when the traslation reach ch 27.
