About the contract, to me seems like Basara is going to be the demon king or something, because he cant go back to the hero village, and almost all the girls aroun him are demons only chisato is the angel.

Them working Basara in as the demon king seems likely as well. I just get the impression that the subjugation contract will be a pretty much permanent or at least long term thing. I'd prefer it if it wasn't and they just continued their "activities" as a matter of habit

I have trouble taking it seriously after Yuki got her contract.

When time comes to kiss the mark, she just stands there looking away. Basara and Maria try to get her to cooperate and she just ignores them until it triggers and Basara has to subjugate her.

Pretty much an excuse for kinky play in-universe here.

Mio was simply too embarrassed to kiss his hand and didn't know what was about to happen to her. Yuki knew exactly what was about to happen and didn't kiss his hand for that very reason. If you can't see the difference here then I feel pretty bad for you

and for Yuki, wouldnt she be capable of kicking off the curse if she invokes the guilt of how many years ago that ended in both him and his old man's voluntary exile? and exactly what are the things to trigger the collar doing its thing again? so far, in Mio's case, the curse has kicked off during:

defiance - she refused to kiss his hand and got a full dosage of forced arousal which resulted in those impressive nine times
attempting to strike the master - prologue, when she tried to fry Basara's ass despite the whole fiasco not being his fault.

I forgot what happened at v1 that kicked off the collar though.

seriously, he has quite the girl lineup and most, if not ALL, have masochist tendencies ore are actually masochists that need to be awakened. not like he has a hidden penchant for being a sadist now... right?

The kiss on the hand, or more precise on the magical symbol, is part of the ritual and not doing it implies revolting against the master.
Basically, the curse always goes off on betrayal/opposition towards the master. The level of betrayal/opposition determines the strength of the curse.
