This thread addresses the topic perfectly. Although at the time it was created, no-one took interest :S

Becoming Arrancar

I also recall we have had this discussion in some other thread before. Perhaps a chapter thread.

New topic! Where does this new filler arc take place?

Spoiler for Anime:

So in that case, how did they just...so randomly cut out? We know it happens after the SS arc since the three Captains are gone...

*Alternate reality/Timeline* There is no way to interrupt the HM arc. So instead look forward fun and new adventures.

Ever since I came back from my little hiatus I've been seeing the word "Shipping" being thrown around. What does that mean because some comments had me baffled when they were saying someone was "Shipping"?

Shipping basically means that you are rooting for one pairing or another. The most popular shipping groups for Bleach are those fans that are rooting for an Ichigo and Rukia romantic pairing and those who are rooting for an Orihime Ichigo romantic pairing.

Neither pairing has been sufficiently confirmed or denied by the manga/anime so anything is possible really - hence the development of shippers.

Just to add quickly, "shipping" derives from the word "relationship". And that is my useless bit of trivia for the day :P.

Canon just means official. Usually the manga is canon and fillers of anime arn't canon, ie. the anime team invents stuff with their own imagination. When people say a part of an episode of the anime wasn't canon they mean it deviated from the manga or was not in the manga at all.

When Grimmjow lost his arm to Tousen, why did he also loose his rank as an Espada?

edit: Also is Shiro Sagisu still the composer for all the soundtracks in the filler?

I can answer your first question, Grimmjow was no longer as powerful because he was missing an arm.
Spoiler for for manga:

Spoiler for for manga:
But surely he would still remain an Espada, his rank would simply drop but 1 or 2. At least he was stronger then Yammy and Arronero. Instead he was kicked out of the Espada full stop.

It hasn't even been released outside of theaters yet. You have no choice to but to wait until September, if this movie follows suit with the first.

Canon means original source material, it don't mean "official".

Erm... manga material was "invented" too with Kubo's own imagination. You're talking like "fillers" aren't in the anime's continuity even, which they certainly are. And "fillers" are just as official as manga material.

Hmm. I searched around and can't find it anymore. Maybe I was daydreaming or the page was mistranslated. I was certain the info page said that a book had been authored for the movie.
