Question Luna Sea, or X-Japan?

Two bands..big in their time..two groups of fans that barely liked each other!
Who do you like more?:
Luna Sea? (Video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=sekpchAl8...rch=Luna%20Sea )
Or
X-Japan? (Video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=FZq2bga2G-E&search=Dahlia%20 )
----------
Me?
Luna Sea all the way.
They got me into all things japanese.

Neither.
The only things I like about Luna sea is Inoran's work with FAKE? and his solo stuff. J's solo stuff is okay, too.
The only thing I like about X-Japan is Yoshiki's producing work (and he was the one who promoted Luna, BTW) and some of hide's solo music.
Both of the bands themselves bore me. :/

I love both Luna Sea and X-Japan. Ryuichi's voice was perfect for Luna Sea's sound, and I love Inoran's guitar playing, and to me they are one of the most influential bands in Jrock. Their songs have always been so beautiful to me, songs like "Wish", "In Silence", and "Loveless" are timeless songs that I never get tired of. About X, although Toshi's voice is a little shakey at times, one can't help but admit X were great musicians, especially hide, and Yoshiki.

Looking at the songs on my playlist, looks like I like X Japan a little more than Luna Sea. And my X Japan craze lasted WAY longer than my Luna Sea one, plus I can recognize Yoshiki far more readily than I can Ryuuichi (rest of all band members are out of it) and I like a few of Hide's songs. Win for X Japan.
What does AL~Zilla mean by "fans that barely liked each other"?

^I have no idea, I've never been hated by any X-Japan fans just cause I really like Luna Sea. Infact the first people to get me into Jrock were X-Japan fans.

Hm I never seemed to like X Japan much. I think the only 2 songs (Art of Life & Tears) I have of them weren't of my taste, so I didn't bother with them after that. I have just 2 songs of Luna Sea (Feel & Crazy about you) as well and I like them a lot.

So, anyone want to recommend me other songs by either?

Luna Sea's album Lunacy has all good songs in it.

Love Song and Rain are pretty good ballads.

Great songs I can think of that are NOT on that album is Rosier, I For You, Desire, and Storm. I especially like their fast songs. End of Sorrow too, True Blue - awesome, I keep listening to more songs and keep editing this post.

I like them both better when they kinda dropped their visual kei look, but I really liked X-Japan better during those days. X-Japan had hide, but Luna Sea had Sugizo. And both their solo works were awsome, so its really a flip for me.. I gotta side with X Japan on this one.

voted for Luna Sea and tied it up at 5/5.

Desire and True Blue are songs that NEVER get old, even to this day.
