Okay, so now I'm a tad confused. Just watched ep 167 (also have read the manga) and

Spoiler:

the fight really doesn't end where it ended in the anime. Nnoitra shows up and, well, you guys know the rest. Does this mean they're gonna change stuff around by having Ichigo rescue Orihime right there? Or, what I'm hoping, the filler arc will solely take place in SS?.....then revert back to where they left off with Ichigo in ep 167.......

someone fill me in?

The fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow has basically ended. Nothing's going to change. They're going into fillers and when they finish that it's going to revert back to where Ichigo left off in ep167. Introducing Noitorra right before going into fillers would be stupid, the way they decided to do it was to have the end of the Grimmjow fight as a junction to start filler.

OD note the bold - I didn't forget. I was scared for both pairings at that moment . I understand your pet peeve but that is a logical answer, and Zombie was persistant, easier to settle it. But I won't answer stuff without facts anymore, so don't worry.

Zombie..None of us are on the animation team. So that's a question that NONE of us here can answer.

However, the only logical conclusion is ... That the series will just go the "Alternate reality" route and when the fillers are over. Bleach will pick up from the point you mentioned in the spoiler above

You forgot that Grim gets up and charges Ichigo he stops him and gives him a tender look and say it's over. That's when they have what I like to call (And have) A Near-Yaoi-Moment... It was Ichigo and GJ who had the moment. Ha...I would rather see him with a man

Besides I think ending it there would have had more impact and the anticipation to see it would have been even greater...

So Zombie you were not being ignored. It's just not an answerable question. You would just get a bunch of opinions.( Like Sensei and I have.)..Not real truth.

However the part about it being unanswerable is TRUTH. I wasn't going to answer, but then I would have to sort through tons of posts of opinions that do not belong in this thread...Just to answer a question... that kinda irritates..me. well im pretty sure they state that there are only 4 noble houses.. if the VC of the 2nd division is the last one then i guess you have it all covered

i know that the SHIBA clan was one before so does that mean that there are three in the present and were four in the past or does it mean that after the fall of the SHIBA clan there were four, meaning that there were five overall that we know of???????

Everything seems to point at the Shiba clan haveing been the fifth house. I'm not sure the Vc of the 2nd is one of the Four Great Noble Houses. There are minor houses ukitake, Soifon and Kira are from minor houses
