Rather than Miyama´s illustrations, the design resemble more the manga artstyle imo

The animation tho looks nice, the Ise vs Sairaorg bit was the highlight of the PV, no complains there, has some movie quality to it

"High School D × D HERO" means that "HERO" will become "HERO" by combining "H" and "ERO" of Issee. There is also meaning to fight heroism [hero faction]". This is why Ishibumi called it Hero. He just said this on his twitter. It also fits with the name of the third arc "The Heroic Oppai Dragon".

Now that I've seen the PV in HQ, I think the character designs are growing on me. It's really close to Miyama's designs and potentially for the better. Although male character designs look about the same still.

The animation is definitely better than before but I have mixed feeling about the new art style. The girls look younger and unmature than they used to be.

Yup, that fight was in Volume 9 where Sirzechs offer Issei a fight with Sairaorg.

Edit : It was supposed to be the basement of Gremory Castle though but who cares.

From Vergil Lucifer on the wiki: "My Japanese friend who saw stream on TV, said to me that Studio that made new season have a contract on at least 2 seasons, but directors is not decided, also have possibility on 3 seasons. And Studio decide made adaptation without any difference from canon (Light Novel)."

So we will be getting a season 5. Season 6 is a possibility.
