i m almost finished my 2nd play , stage 58 now :P
Must say that if u choose Setsuko as ur 2nd play and choose ZAFT route , the story of GSD as well as GSD char's development is pretty good imo , not like a mess like the TV show lolz .

SRWZ totally justified the mess that is GSD and compensated with right amounts of bashing lol

Shinn will still remain the main character of GSD and has become a very good character imo

Spoiler for some interesting secret plot changes of GSD in SRWZ:

if u save Rey and Talia then Dullindal will use his last strenght to kill the Frost Brothers along with the Gbits to open a way for ZEUTH team .
Just by playing SRWZ , I think i begin to like Shinn , Rey , Dullindal and Meer now

More than that , if u meet the condition to save Stellar , then I must say that my hatred toward Kira Yamato has gone down by half lolz
Btw , in the end I still dislike Kira Yamato for his acts . When I shot down Neo and Sting edi , then I shot down Destroy and calm Stellar edi , suddenly Kira Yamato just "!" and then approached Destroy . Stellar was scared by that and she screamed out " Kuruna !" . Then Jesus Yamato just said " Mou , yamerou ! " and then finished her off . I was totally rage just by seeing that screen . If i havent met the condition to save Stellar at that time , then I will never forgive Kira Yamato for what he has done

LOL wow, sounds interesting. So wait, if you met the conditions why did he still attack? Or did she survive the explosion?

About Freedom atk , I still cant understand why Kira Yamato had to gone that far since the battle is over edi , and after that stage all he said about that is just "shikata nai " ( there's no other way ) =.= and that what's set me on rage to full up F Impulse weapon and sank Kira Yamato to the bottom of the sea in 2 atks next stage . Too bad that the last time u can encounter Kira Yamato as an enemy , after that when u meet him again he will be ur ally , i m seriously f***ed =.=

Yes Shinn and co. are actually very nice characters in SRWZ.

Being exposed to all the other super robot teams and their positive views on saving world and achieving world peace, the 'ZAFT Reds', actually become quite a good team. Shinn and Athrun actually acknowledge each other and work as a team, they sound like good friends as well.

The biggest change is indeed Shinn himself. He is more humble, views things more openly and doesn't sound like he is always angsty and fighting for revenge rather than world peace. In fact he did really wish for world peace from the bottom of his heart lol, when Planetes, the mind reading overman opened everyone's minds.

Kira became a target board for bashing lol. Strike Freedom's mecha data entry even says sacarstically that it is the ultimate protagonist mech, the best of the best, because it came out of the show totally unscathe, not even taking a single hit.

When you fight him on several occasions you can get people like Amuro, who bashes his ideals of stopping wars without killing people and such.

Well they still compensate actual fans of Kira with Strike Freedom being still quite powerful lol

SF and IJ has EN regen, but not Destiny and Legend, because of the difference of their reactors.

Yes, Amuro does have Dijeh, but only for Setsuko Route. It supposedly has very nice animations, but I'm still on my Rand first playthrough so I haven't seen it. I don't like to spoil myself with Nico Nico and Youtube lol

The voice actors are all the same, Japanese don't switch their voice actors. Even Bright and Banjou remains the same, despite that Suzuoki passed away 2 years ago.

Saw some clips of SF and IJ using their combined attack with Eternal, using the you-know-what unit. It... has to be seen. I think I'll have to cut back on my ham intake.

equip Legend and Destiny with Solar Banel , then u have 10% max EN regen each turn , equal to that of SF and IJ
SF is quite useful for taking care of grunt squad ( Legend can do this very well too but a little less effective than SF ) while Destiny and IJ seems to be the anti-boss type compare to those other 2 . Destiny's atk has the most damage of the 4 GSD's main gundams this time , and his animation is superior compare to those 3 . Can say that Destiny has some of the most impressive and beautiful moves in both SR section and RR section this time .

One more thing for SF/IJ's lovers ( well i dun like them in the anime but I like to use them here lolz ) , put Eternal beside SF/IJ to give them 2 combination atks with the Eternal : Meteor Full Burst Mode ( highest damage move of SF ) and Meteor Beam Sword ( highest damage move of IJ ) . Both unit will gain 2 new combination atks with the ship although the damage is different as I said above .
Both Meteor FB have DK animation ( althought SF's one is more beautiful due to some special cut-in lolz ) but only IJ's Meteor Beam Sword has DK animation .

About UC suits , I think Zeta and The O has best animations ( Zeta hyper beam sword and wave rider crash , The O with its final atk )


P.S : I recommend upgrade Impulse , Savior , GX and Gundam MKII since their upgrades will be carried over to Destiny , IJ , DX and Zeta . In 1st time dun waste ur money on Rey's zaku althought it will be carried over to Legend as well , but it seems u cant save Rey in the 1st game lolz

@C.A : yes Banjou and Bright dun change seiyuus but Olson does lolz ( since it's his debut in SRW and Hirotaka passed away 2 years ago , they replaced the voice by Kennyu Horyuchi

heh, can't say that I am too surprised. Is there an Amuro vs Kira fight? And can Amuro use Hi-Nu?

You'll get to find Kira a few times on Setsuko route, you can throw Amuro at Kira for a few lines.

But nope, there's no Hi-Nu and Sazabi as well. They're using the New Translation for Z Gundam so the future UC events may not even happen, such as ZZ and CCA. Its already good that they have Nu Gundam in the game, they could have just stopped at Dijeh.
