Its certainly cutely drawn.... and quite silly (kind of a Gilligan-baka + a pile of Mary Anns/Gingers?). We'll certainly give it a few episodes...

YES! Thank you Ayako! Nagasarete goodness, now fansubbed!

Anyway, if the anime sticks to the manga, this will be well above the average harem anime.

OK just got done watching the first eps and yeah
This is to much like Girls Bravo. Im a huge harem fan and yeah this one i think ill pass. I can already pretty much tell what every eps is gona be about. They gona have the random girl of the day. Fallowed with almost every girl trying 2 "steel him" Its already clear he is gona end up with the brown haired girl.

All the other girls are already showed as "Evil" He was founded and saved by the same girl. It would of been so much better if the grandma would of found it and led to the girls warming up to him. So much potienal wasted.

Hell i can already predict the ending they are all gona find a way out of the island right after iko and the brown haired girl become "offical" ala girls bravo, but hey aleast girls bravo gave 1 other girl a chance wich was his long time friend. This one looks so cut and dry its just gona get stale real fast.

Ill give this show a couple more eps maybe ill get shocked and they do reset what just happened. Then at the end when a girl is picked its a real question and not just ok he is ending up with the brown hair girl we already know it.

I just watched the Ayako release, and while the show itself is as good as expected, the fansub was awful. I have limited understanding of japanese and even i could spot the mistakes. Not to mention the bad editing of the english.

That alone wouldnt cause me to gripe, since groups usually get better as a show progresses, but what was with the encoding? Right off the bat it starts hogging 50% of the processor and at several times during the ep it became laggy because it was taking 100%, and i have an AMD 4800.

Hopefully they improve their encoding aswell as their editing >.<

As for the ep, depending on how they follow the manga it could be a great show. However after been let down so much recently by failed manage conversion *cough*D.Gray-Man*cough* im not sure im going to put any faith in them following the manga for long

The art style is great and the girls are just to damned cute for their own good. Cant wait to see future episodes.

Dont complain about something your getting for free. If you can do a better job do it yourself. Quit being a Spoiled brat. Just be grateful they subed it and leave it at that. They released it fast so yeah there is gona be some bugs. if the skipping bugged you so much simple watch the rar and dont watch the subs. end of store

I am doing it myself :P After talking it over with the group i work with they picked it up as one of the shows they're doing this season.

Also, please read the FULL post i made before commenting. I didnt really have a issue with the bad translation or editing, since if you'd read the full thing, you'd of noticed i'd said those usually improve as they go.

As for the encoding, frankly as both a lover of subs and a subber i like to here if there's problems with an encode. When AA started our encodes were terrible, we learnt as we went and had the errors pointed out by those that DLed and watched the releases.

Also, i only commented on the bad encoding because Ayako's releases are usually okay, this is the first one ive had trouble with.

Finally, its RAW not rar :P

For people with computers who cannot handle H264, there'll be an xvid version up later today.

I concur about the editing.

Well Ayako/YourMom group are not known for their excellent grammar, since they are a speed sub..... After watching 12 ep of Kyoshiro no sora subbed by ayako they don't improve as it progresses and i'll tell you why, it's because they are a speed sub and accuracy isn't one of their main priorities.. Their priority is to get out the subs as quickly as possible so people can watch them. Frankly I'm quite grateful of Ayako for releasing subs so fast and i usually download their subs, watch it then get better subs when they catch up to Ayako...

No offence to Ayako cause i think they do a great job as i can pretty much understand most of the subtitle and some of the mistakes made aren't that bad and you can basically guess what they are trying to say. I watch their subs cause it's fast for people who don't want to wait too long for quality subs...

When watching speed subs you must jump into it knowing that you won't get the best quality, just the fastest release... That way you won't be dissapointed with preconceived notions of what you expected from subbing groups.

Thumbs up

My favorite new series. Humor is great and the voice actors do a fantastic job of making it look like they are really talking.

An okay episode really good animation the characters all seem to be likeable. But I felt like the comedy/jokes went by too fast for it to sink in like they move on to the next joke as quickly as possible. I'll continue watching this eventhough I'll be typical harem series but as long the characters stay likeable I'll keep watching. Oh and I loved the animatin very slick hope they keep this up.

Then why release in h264? Seems to be a contradiction really. Most groups who release in h264 try and give it the highest quality they can all round. With speed subs why bother with 264 since its pretty much a given that when a better release comes out from another group, thae original will be thrown out.

To me, it just seems like to much work to make 2 versions for speed subs.

Anywhooo

I still love the begining of the anime, im glad they kept it the same as the manga. Fished out of the sea, beaten up, kissed and blew up >.< funny as hell.

Suzu is as cute as i imagine her to be and her voice is just goregeous. I'm looking forward to the next ep cause:

It was nice watching this episode. On a sidenote about errors and stuff, why not post the errors in the "new" Ayako forums at http://ayako.desudesu.net/forum where the staff participate in? I'm sure if you point out where the errors are at least one of them will note it.

No offense, but you didn't point out where their mistakes were there... How would they improve in this case? If you were to say "The entire episode is a mistake..." ... well I can't say anything more.

I'm a regular in Ayako channel because they're subbing many series that I like and they've recently been producing better quality releases every time, especially in this Spring season. It's obvious that they are trying to bridge the gap between speedsubs and quality.

Just once I want to see a guy thrown into a situation like this and not have him turn into a total sexual whimp. Without it turning into porn of course.

TBH the episode does rate as a mistake. Bad editing, bad english and encoding. All three make for a bad release.

That aside, if you read the forum you posted, you'd see a post admiting the encode wasnt done right because it was a rush job:

Quote:
For some reasons, I encoded this episode in a rush but not giving the best. Things should go faster or better since Spi will encode the rests episodes. Now I would go back to resume other works or... I may get killed soon.
As for pointing out the mistakes, i thought i already did that earlier when i said the encode was bad. Cant get much more plainer than that. As for the rest, bad english and editing, i can live with those. (Wait didnt i already say that in my first post *checks* yup i did).

But since they've already admited the encode was a rush job, and that future ones are going to be better, i dont see the point to run it into the ground anymore.

@Jerseykid lol but where would the fun in that be Having the hero as a sexual wimp gives us something to complain about :P Besides, you cant have a harem show without the wimpy guy, its like a jam sandwich without the jam

That said, if they follow the manga it should prove to be an interesting show, and they're giving a full 26 eps, so it has a lot of breathing room. If they were going to cram it into 13 id of been disapointed.

I haven't seen the subbed episode yet, but surely it can't be that bad? As someone said before though, don't bitch. If you don't fansub you just shouldn't bitch at all, and if you bitch, and you're going to fansub the series as well, then that's just bad sportsmanship and frankly, a little sad on your part.

Anyways, for the people who didn't like it, the piki or whatever it's called says 2 more groups will be doing it. I havn't heard of either though ~_~. But since the latter of the 2 groups updated the piki no more than a week ago, I suppose they're really intending on doing it.

About the episode itself, I liked it High Definition for the win I completely hated the OP and ED, but that might just be me and my ability to not like voices like hers.
The animation was okay, nothing outstanding, nothing really bad either. Thank god it's not another Girls Bravo, animation-wise. ~_~.

Yeah, looking forward to episode 2

Girls Bravo wouldnt have been so bad if it hadn't been so badly censored, and the second season was mostly just seeing how they could push the border between anime and hentai >.<

I didnt bother listening to the OP or ED to be honest, its very rare that i ever listen to them. Much rather just get right into the show lol.

The only OP and ED i listen through fully Saiunkoku Monogatari and Utawarerumono, both had something that grabed me from the outset and i couldnt fast forward through >.<

Only TV broadcast was censored, both japanese and U.S. DVD release removed the fog.

True, but they then made a mess of the translations and stuff that made it just as bad to watch as when it had the fog >.< So bad at times it hurt my eyes to watch lol.

Come to think of it, i dont think i ever watched Girls Bravo OP or ED for either series. The ony other one i think i ever watched was DearS, and thats cause they were so damned funny >.<

Oh, and Fushigi Yuugi, though i havent watched that in a dogs age.
