Meh, ED expectations down . Though maybe Kanno-sama will do the music for her (not her style, though, unless that's Sakamoto Maaya we're talking about >.>)

Ahhhh... don't know what to say about this but it's so easy to get drawn in by Yoko Kanno's music. From the trailer alone, i can say it's gonna be fun listening to her work in DTB even if the anime itself sucks.

Hopefully this won't end up like another Speed Grapher.

The D.Gray-man OP was very nice. I hope they do a good job.

Actually, T.M. Revolution did the 3rd ED of Rurouni Kenshin, not the 3rd OP. Probably just a typo you made, but just to inform others out there...

Hmmm... Should be a good OP, especially since Takanori Nishikawa and his band is doing it. I haven't checked D.Gray-Man, but I thought I checked out the OP for it, and it was okay.

As for the ED... meh. I'm not a big fan of Rie Fu, but her music is tolerable to my ears.

Well, at least this anime is actually getting some attention compared to Ayakashi Ayashi. I just hope BONES won't disappoint (which they usually don't).

Anyway, does anyone have any more information on the characters or when this will be aired?
Oh, I didn't mean to offend. It's just that when I upgraded to WMP 11, it wasn't enough to view the Japanese episodes. I had to get a further upgrade so I assumed the DRM stuff on my computer after the original upgrade wasn't enough.

It was all legal and above the board. So no lawsuits in my direction.

Stupid database error ate up my post...

Anyway, yes - 3rd ED, sorry. And it was sort of the 4th ED after 4th Avenue Cafe got pulled due to that silly thing with Laruku. Bleh. How could I mix it up when it was a nostalgic precious memory of my primary school days!!1!1

rooboy: according to the official site I think the first broadcast is on the 5th of April.

Strangely enough the school computer blocks Moonphase for "pornography". ...

They count the night as the same day, so, it's 25:25 on 05/04, not 1:25 on 06/04.

Yeah, and to most of you west of Japan (including me) that's pretty much the 5th, anyway...

It isn't that far away but damn, there's too many nice things out this season. I hope I won't have to cut this one out.

Yeah, almost too many good looking series Guess I'll be kissing away my free time come April, and in some bizarre way I love it. It's been too long since I was looking forwards to so many anime at once.

Wewt, good quality scans from Newtype grabbed off 2ch!

I'm too lazy to actually look at them for info right now, but for anyone who just wants to look at pictures...

And you can see a smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall picture of C.C.-ripoff (yes, she has an Anemone thing gone with her but I still think she's C.C.-ripoff) here:

http://www.famitsu.com/anime/news/20...68189,0,0.html

I haven't seen that promo image before.

bwaah why is it now that when i made simulair looking outfits l3 years ago that they pop up in anime series.. specially if i wanna produce them to comic or game projects...

i had a simulair mask design for one of my characters and im scared that things will look a lot alike in basic story line nyuuuh!~

however this anime still gets my attention, i cant wait till it starts airing.. but heck i should start thinking of a different mask... >.> *rmapages against her computer*

You can hear a sample of the OP now. Either at http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/Music/Arc...943/index.html or you can go to http://www.aabbss.com/ and hear it on repeat once the thing fully loads. It doesn't play the whole song though, but I figure the TV cut would sound something like that.

Weeeell... it doesn't fit my preferred image of the show, but it does fit the typical MBS-shiny-show sort of image... I think I preferred their D.Gray-man OP

Also, there's a lot more stuff to share like:
A cast interview on the web (where the female seiyuu have positively fallen for Hei and it's confirmed that there's lots of female guest characters, and a good part of the show follows a biepisodic format)
A tiny synopsis of episode 1 + staff
A spread from a little booklet that came with Animage

But the time...

If it's going to be semi-episodic, I hope the episode stories are actually good and not trite or overly familiar. Hearing this makes me nervous not because I dislike episodic shows, but because you need better than normal writing to pull one off.

I hope BONES manages to hold onto the Geass audience. They kind of need to redeem themselves for Ayakashi and Juu-Oh-Sei.

If they hype Hei's "uber-sexy brooding badass" type angle and Yin's "im so much like rei it hurts angle" with some wacky convulted plot it probably will do at least moderately well in fan circles

Plus i think despite flaws, both of those shows were good overall

I want to watch this series! Its premiers on April right?

I was hoping that after Ghost Hunt ended I would be able to start watching another anime that was of the same genre.

I don't think they sort of belong to the same genre, unless you're referring to the presence of a bishounen as protagonist.

Well both of the shows involve mystery and drama. And, I agree with you on the bishounen part. Hei kinda looks like Naru.... XD And it also looks like Hei and Naru are going to share the same qualities in personality, at least from the preview that I saw.

lol.. well, as long as the show doesn't become as mysterious and dramatic as... say... Ikkitousen, I'm all in.
