Tutorials
I am looking for some tutorials concerning
- Flash (like how do you make that "preloader") - HTML (I always use absolute x&y coördinates and would like to switches to relative (like putting the picture in the middle of the screen without calculating where the middle is(which is usually wrong)) - Photoshop (Just because) Of course if you know how to do it yourself, you can always give me an answer instead of a link Last edited by Love Witch; 2004-03-20 at 12:00. |

You can always seek me out for advice in photoshop ^^
And for tutorials: google is your best friend, truly. I used to have many links, but i killed my old browser leaving me without favorites, but oh well. As for html => www.selfhtml.com I think what you might be looking for is <align="center"> bla </align> Not too sure thou. What you might want to do is make a table around the object and align the object in the middel of the table. Table's are a great way for webdesign. ^^ Stupid ... i just found self html isn't available in english ... damn T_T Last edited by Biohazard; 2004-03-20 at 12:10. |

If it is as a JPG it cant be transparent. So you have to use GIF format , wich uses indexed colors. You might wanna switch modes to indexed colors too, it makes it nearly impossible to work on the pic but you can alter the transparenzy better with it, because it doesnt allows half-transparent pixels. You can do that by goin to: Image -> Mode -> Indexed Color... It's also good because it tells you how many different colors are in the pic. 256 are the maximum for GIF, but you can let photoshop alter them down for you. ( Might look crappy thou, but it should be ok ) As for slices... just take the slice tool and make slices of your picture, when you save it, it should ask what to do. Just tell him to save "images only" and it will save all the slices you made. You can also tell him to save it as a html together with images, then he will have a html file too where the images are already aligned together. |
