Gah, sorry that I wasn't here to tell you whether or not your guesses were right, guys. I was moving (not voluntarily) and didn't have internet for a few weeks.

There used to be this girl I really liked back in the days.

At the time lots of people were talking about her tales.

A few years ago she suddenly disappeared though
('A few years ago' -> You have to search in the 'older series' section.
'suddenly disappeared' -> Some of the older series specific sub-forums have to make room for newer sub-forums and are moved to the retired section. So you go to the 'retired' section)

and it left us all in tears.
(A lot of people cried during this anime.
This was to trick you into choosing the anime 'True tears' in the retired section as well )

We only have some pictures to proof her existence now. There were a few pictures in particular that meant a lot to me. I've been searching and searching, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Well this is how I interpreted the most recent hint, which says using only mod. I think the mod is either 2 or 5. These might've been guessed before, especially Kairin, but no harm trying again

I checked all the answers from the very first guess to the latest and I didn't see any links to Kairin's profile so you are probably on the mark there Rennir.

I'm still a little confused. Only use mod? Is it a modulo operation?

I've tried 5 mod 3, and 3 mod 5 etc. etc., yet It comes out as similar incorrect responses as before such as:

To be fair can only answer an explanation/hypothesis with links. It's still a riddle after all.

It may be a nice forum game but half of the forum members can't play it

I am not a native english speaker; I don't think any of the riddles so far required you to be one, or advantaged you for being one. If you got a basic understanding of english, enough to be able to read the riddle, everything should be fine.
