Except there was 7 colors/gems on the Smile Precure devices. Hinting for two cures to show up... And what did we get ? CURE CANDY.

I liked Smile too, but it had some problems. It needed a lot of tweaks, like not only punching twice before using the finisher every time (hyperbole), or mixing in some seriousness other than the mid and final climaxes. Yayoi has to be one of my favorite characters though, she's just so damn cute.

All of the Cures of HappyCharge are cute, so I'll have to learn all their personality quirks before I see how much I like them.

Nice change of pace with male characters getting a bigger role this season, though the general "keep it a secret" plot point ended up being more awkward than entertaining.

Seems like the Cure form changes are limited to 3d animation stock footage. Tad disappointing, though the human form changes aren't too bad and give more variety in clothing outside of the standard summer/winter wardrobes.

I think Seiji got a little bit too excited that he just received a girly cellphone,but to each their own.

From what I saw in episode 3, Cherry Flamenco was basically a glorified basic non-finisher attack. I'm hoping this isn't always the case but given it's a Precure series, I'm not expecting much 2d animation of it past the opening.

I think they will do it a litle diferent later on the series however right now they didn't ive shown cure lovely finisher before CF they rushing the power ups to show cure honey faster

I wouldn't be surprised it is. There is also a part of the OP with him and Queen Mirage('s original form?), so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some love difficulties, which caused Queen Mirage('s original) form to turn into Queen Mirage.
And perhaps was the reason the pandora's box opened.

I'm guessing the big bad of this show is his twin and turned bad because of a heartbreak

First time I saw an ordinary human step in front to protect a precure. Liked the scenes where Cure Lovely fighting bare fists vs the Terribad, the fight is short but intense.

Hmm, I have a suspicion that Cure Princess is one of those responsible for opening the box that released the villains..

I think that's possible given that Cure Fortune was like "It's all your fault!" to Princess.

This. Or if not the big bad then the main boss who was taken advantage of by the final boss somehow because of the heartbreak.

I was actually delighted and surprised to see a non precure step up to the plate as well! ^^

Also - a lesson from ep 3: do not make Cure Lovely angry. :\

Was kinda also surprised to see Cure Lovely having so many "power options" available to her so early in the series....
