Spoiler for Major Spoilers - Qing Er:

While Suyun's parents were still alive, Qing Er was his maid. After they died and Suyun lost his talents, it was only Qing Er who never gave up on him and kept on supporting him with money. She actually joined the main Su house for his sake, for the power to protect him and a stable income. Because she came from common blood, she is still considered an outsider and treated very badly in the Su family despite her talents, with little more status than a title, but she endures their treatment because that's the only way she can support Suyun in his darkest time. Qing Er has little to no affection for the Su family, with the one exception being Suyun.

To her, Suyun is her most important person, even though everyone else calls him trash. Many people in the Su family bullies him and she tries to help him as much as she can, but because her own position in the Su family is shaky and Suyun's status is the lowest of the low, there are limits and she fails most of her attempts. If the Su Family had their way, Qing Er and Suyun will never meet again. No one truly knows how intimate her feelings for Suyun are until she went mad with grief when Suyun had apparently died. By mad with grief, I mean that she actually cried in front of everyone and tried to enter a dangerous and forbidden mountain to find him and almost killed the guards who were blocking her way. It took the head of the Su family to stop her.

In case anyone here thought otherwise, Suyun happened to have a tendency to offend powerful people, but even when the worse came to pass (say if Suyun cut off the arm of the first elder's son), she will still rush to his aid and try to help him to the best of her abilities. Even if it meant fighting the Su family and stalling the first elder himself if it meant he could escape.

As for whether Qing Er will severe her connections with the Su family for Suyun, she states that she will go wherever he wants so long as it's by his side. And kill? Oh yeah, she will kill for him.

though what would be her reaction upon finding out about the 'thing' between him and foxy . . . that am also interested in knowing
