And even more important, you can see the "bullets" in the revolver. It always annoys me when a police drama (or really any show/movie/whatever) has a camera shot looking up at a revolver, and you can see the empty chambers. Screw safety issues, if you are going to have a revolver on the stage, then you damn well better have some fake bullets in the chambers, or prop looks completely fake...

Sorry for the mini-rant .

And the Deputy's revolver is a Colt Anaconda at that!

Looks like it might shape up to be a pretty great series. I might have to try and track down some of the comics and see how it compares.

My mother is a real horse person and she almost cried at the end of the episode. Gruesome.

All I know is if I see a survivor using a Steyr Elite in this I'll squeal like a school girl.

Most flicks I have seen are trash. This ain't one. If they keep going like with the first episode, it's going to be a classic. IMO, they even improved the original storyline a little bit (like not showing the mess hall -just the hands, which is a nice touch). Went and read the entire comic serie too.

Loved the premier most definitely a must watched very sunday for me now. I actually went to a premire party that was hosted in my area and lots of people dressed up as zombies it also helped that it was Halloween. They got so many things right its a shame its only going to be 6 episodes.

This scene in particular was my favorite of the episode and really sums up the emotional elements this show has brought to the zombie narrative.

Spoiler for episode 1 scene:

I just find that scene beautiful. Everything is executed to perfection (music, acting, atmosphere, emotion, etc).

Loved the premier . Good actors , good actings , emotions , atmosphere ...
And the zombies kinda remind me HOTD's zombies except that they can see and open door I read some reviews and it seems that it's a good adaptation from the comics.

Anyway , i found my new TV series !!

Btw , i laughed when Rick was ready to suicide but at this time he saw the tank's hole ^^

Perfectly said! I was sorta getting tired of all those reality shows that appeared everytime I turned on the T.V. although some may be good, something like this is what we need again.

Somebody said 6. Just got thru watchin ep.2 and it was GOOD! Loved Glen he a kick in the pants! And the idea of covering yourself with dead guts to mask your "living smell", I would have never thought of that one!
And the closeing scene was epic! Challanger FTW!
