Maybe. After all: Hinoki probably hasn't succeeded at being an actress, designer, or any of the stuff she's talked about. If she's disheartened by her failures, that also explains why she accepts Keima as her personal fan--she's getting some recognition, which she craves.

Well, Hinoki did design the hagoromo into a questionably fashionable clothing. Then she re-designed it into a muffler/scarf in chapter 93. And no doubt she is superior in martial arts than Kusunoki (for now), as demonstrated in their sparring match.
It must be different from Hakua's arc... |

Man finding the goddess out of all the girls seems to be a difficult task. I think we can cross out the ones who are his classmates, along with the twintail girl and karate captain. It probably isn't any recent ones either and it's definietly one Keima caught it seems.

After I read 93, I think Kusonoki's back in the running for being a goddess. If not that, I think she'll become a more important recurring character; at least her fighting skill will come in handy even if she's not a goddess. I thought they seemed awfully friendly, at least close enough to be friends after the capture, let alone a goddess-character directly involved with the underlying plot.
