Actually, whether or not they kissed is up for debate. They were both pretty much lying down when they started moving to kiss, then just before they kiss it cuts to the distance shot of them sitting upright looking like they're kissing with the sun behind them. Then we get the panel of Gerard pushing Erza away. Plenty of room in there for them to have kissed, and Gerard be breaking a kiss rather than flat out avoiding one.

Never underestimate the power of emo :O At least in FT, characters die and people care about it. Still used up 4 pages for pure trolling purposes, and in the end I didn't understand the "training" part, all I saw was everyone in pain with magic seals on them...wonder if other mages have undergone the same procedure.

EDIT: Just noticed how early this release was, took only a day to come out.

Seems to me that with this happening we're more than likely to see Erza and Jellal get together at the end, unless he kills off Erza cause we all know he ain't killing off Jellal

How else were we supposed to get the melodrama for their relationship to build upon

Something had to give so they could at first grow apart then closer and the death of a friend generally works pretty fine.

Personally...not really into Fairy Tail shipping...which is weird because I always have a couple I cheer for in series I like, hell even in OP. But here...I dunno, maybe something Natsu...and anyone...but...Cana...I fuckign hate her.

Darn it, I just realized that I’m not really used to romance when I’m reading a shonen manga………so that’s how it is done in shonen huh?!!...........can’t imagine that with Ichiruki though XD…….lol, I think Kubo is a “little” bit better in terms of shipping scene…..that’s why there is a huge war there. hahaha….

But I LIKE it,…..they act like a fool --- that’s what a good couple chemistry always defined ^^
Argh, I envy it , hoping we’ll get some NatsuxLucy too…^^

Did they kissed each other? I don't think so. They were just so close to each other and when Gerard pushed Erza back and Erza had this expression on her face quizzically like why you didn't kiss me etc. But I'm hardcore Erza fan so I refused to think that they kissed each other. I'm happy that things turned out like this. But it's decided that they are going to end up with being each other in the future. Anyways I also don't think LucyXNatsu is good couple. Mr.Mashima didn't need to bring Lissana back if he is trying to build up LucyXNatsu shipping. I would feel so sorry for Lissane if something like that would happen. At least he didn't need to kill Simon for the first place and give a chance to both of boys to strive for Erza. But also there is Ultear who seems to be liking Gray and hope Meredy is aware of that. But I don't think Juvia is going let that happen even she stops time. Ahh so much complicated matters. I'm also anxious about what will happen to Gajel and Levy's relationship. Poor Droy, anyways :3

this is the FIRST serious romance happening in FT. I'm quite happy about it. let's hope it's just the beginning for Erza and Jelle rather than the end it suggested.

It never ends like that, especially for a shounen action series, theres gonna be little doubt that if both live to the end, they will most likely get together.
They have this being apart phase but something later on will bring them together again, most likely Erza being in trouble and Jellal coming to her rescue since Jellal is the one to push her away first.

Still, again more interested in my Gray X harem, it's got the best humor and the best girls
