Wow I left to go take my college classes today and come back to find out the thread became a Chat Room. Nom@n shouldn't have to tell you guys, you are adults just follow the rule. But back on topic (Hate lecturing people to keep focus, I sounded like my 80 year old grandma right there), I believe Ise will take down Cao Cao in vol 12. So far Cao Cao has been the longest reigning enemy in High School DXD. Hades can wait because this would be a good thing for the author to include a new story arc involving Greece or Roman (Mostly likely Greece due to the Gods having their Greece name). Cao Cao and his group wish for the destruction of the peace treaty made with the 3 races and the Underworld. It is most befitting for Cao Cao to be beaten by Ise and seeing his dream crush right before Ise kills him (Cao Cao will most likely be the second enemy that Ise will actually kill).

ReaperxKingx @ From a Plot stand point I would and want to agree with you. But if you remember the afterword of vol 11(the one that they traslate for us) the author say that Hades will end this story arc 3 like loki was the start(of the evil god or something like this). That's why we think that ....1 hades will be the final boss of this vol 2 he will go down. And honestly i cant see both hades and cao_cao fall this time (in this vol) . no to mention that there is the whole fake ophis thing that Cao_cao say some time ago.
But I agree with you that cao_cao will probally be the second enemy that Ise acutally kill.

If Hades go down in vol 12, we won't see much of Greece mythology which would be a shame, would love to see Aphrodite in the novel. I had theory of the new Ophis, I think the new Ophis will be the enemy that the original Ophis will fight in vol 12. No doubt Ise will be back and original Ophis will accompany him to the Underworld and save it. (She probably doesn't care what happen to the Underworld just following Ise because he told her that his home is hers as well and he is her first friend which I think is foreshadowing her to become part of his harem) Cao Cao needs to be taken down due to the fact he already is max out to his full power already. Can't see him becoming anything more powerful so that makes him the perfect antagonist to take down plus his allies matches Ise's allies. If you piece Cao Cao's team against Ise's team, they are identical in abilities and Ise's team lost to them twice already. This needs a proper and final battle ending, dragging Cao Cao out even more would hinder the progress of this novel in my opinion.

You right about this.Now that i read you're post make sense. Still the way the author talk about hades seem that he will go down now. Still ....if the thing really play like you say Reaper(can i call you this way instead every time the full one?) this mean that Ise had to come back pretty soon. I mean if all this had to be done in one vol they need Ise even more. Honestly I would like if everything will really take care this vol and the next arc will be something totally new. And i want cao_cao finally die.

Or the one where she become or want to become one of his evile piece(in the future) and that's way be with her sister? I think it will be easy if I post it again, I never said she would be Ise's future evil piece must have gotten it from someone else (Though in a sense she may due to the fact she told him what she is worth just like Lady Phoenix told Ise what Ravel is worth). The theory is this, we all know Kuroka and Koneko have a difficult sibling relationship (Well that is putting it mildly just go with it). Kuroka killed her master to protect Shirone (Koneko) from his clutches which in my opinion is a good action to protect her sister. The action is pure for her part, but she forgot to reclaim her sister before she ran away which in turn made Koneko's life a living hell. Ise have already solved a family problem which is Akeno and Barakiel father and daughter relationship. In the sense he cares for Koneko and in a way cares for Kuroka after she told him the real reason for killing her master. It really foreshadows Ise solving their problem and fixes their relationship. Kuroka would fall in love with Ise for doing this for her despite her trying to kill him in vol 5 because she saw what Ise is willing to do for her. It is also a good chance to add another Romance rivalry in the Novel which is Sister's Love Rivalry. It is also hinted that the author may pursue a Childhood friend Love Rivalry with Sona and Rias.

Okay I've decided to do volume 11 translation is well. Here is the translation of Life 1 Part 1. You guys can see how the girls act after Ise's confession in volume 10.

“Ara. That seems to be something good. Looks like Ise-kun have already done something amazing.”

Akeno-san says it while putting her hands on her mouth…… N-no, we didn’t do anything that “erotic”…… Since Asia was with us is well. We just kissed before going to sleep and cuddled each other when we were sleeping! Eh? It’s the same as usual you say? No, no. It’s something we did, after I confessed to Rias. My tension got so high that I was getting embarrassed and my heartbeat was beating so fast! I love this person and this person loves me….. I’m so glad that I got reincarnated into a devil! I will work hard for the Underworld even from now! By the way, I’m still hesitant on calling Rias, “Rias”. Well I’ve been calling her “Buchou” for the whole time, so it cant be helped I’m hesitant in calling her by her name…….. And also the fact that I feel shy to call her by her name! It’s not that I don’t want to call her by her name. Instead, I want to call her by her name even more often! I would want to atleast call her “Rias” naturally at home. Akeno-san then made a sigh as if she finds this boring.

“Looks like you are calm then I thought Rias. I thought that you would have been burning with jealousy……. I don’t find your reaction interesting at all.”

“I’m sorry about that. But he is “my” Ise, so this fact will never change.”

The unstable personality she had before the Rating Game was gone. Now she’s filled with confidence like always.

“Ara-ara. Looks like I was shown the confidence of the “legal wife”.”

Akeno-san says that. Rias made a small laugh, then she kisses my cheek.

“It’s breakfast. Come down stairs.”

She says that and leaves the room…… It seems like she wasn’t that mad at Akeno-san.

“Even if she acts like that, she’s pushing herself.”

Akeno-san says it after sitting on the bed.

“….Pushing herself? Bu….. I mean did something happen to Rias?”

“To tell you the truth in the last Rating Game, she feels burden to herself because of the fact that she couldn’t be much of a use and it resulted in her being like that.”

…….She’s talking about the match against Sairaorg-san. Rias fought a longinus who has its own will, “Regulus Nemea” and received a critical wound.

“……Rias cant forgive herself because she held you back in the fight and is corncerned about it.”

“…..N-no. It’s just that her opponent was too strong…… Ri--Rias isn’t weak, and she has also been making lots of strategy before the battle…….”

“……In terms of strategy, the match between Sona-Kaichou and Agares received more attentions. The battle they had was a match of taking each others flag, the “Scramble Flag”. It wasn’t a flashy fight and it wasn’t recognised by others that much. But it received a high rating from the critics as a “hidden professional game”.”

If I think about it, the magazine which recently was released in the Underworld were talking about that match is well. Obviously the match between us and Sairaorg-san’s team got more articles. But the article written by a critic –writer was ongoing about high praises for the match between Sitri and Agares.

“Rias will need to learn many thing as a “King”. First of all, she asked an advice from her Onii-sama, Sirzechs-sama, and have started to research about the power of destruction even more seriously.”

She asked about power of destruction from Sirzechs-sama?

“……Is it different from training?”

“Rias and Sirzechs-sama have the same demonic-power of power of destruction. But the nature….or should I say the “characteristic” is different. Sirzechs-sama’s power is said to be a ultimate Wizard-Technique-type. He can control that destructible power like his hand and foot. Akeno-san says it with a narrow eyes.

“She’s lacking something “decisive”. To put it simple, she doesn’t have a power-of-destruction which is few stages up which you can call it an “special move”. “

……Rias doesn’t have a special move? B-but….!

“If its just shooting, I think it has quite an impact…… Certainly Buchou……. I mean Ria. Rias might not have a special move against strong foes we have faced…… But……”

“It seems like she’s finding it. Even I also had a shameful match……..”

Akeno-san says that with a sad voice. I tell her while shaking my head.

“No. The opponent “Queen” was quite skilful.”

The “Queen” from the house of Abaddon who uses the power of hole. I heard that she is a top-tier “Queen” amongst the youth of devils. She must be stronger than Raiser’s Queen and the Fukubuchou from the Sitri group. She must be very skilful since she can split the “Holy-lightning” to power of light and lightning!

“Though Ise-kun has finished the match against her instantly…….”

“U…...Ummmmm yeah, that might be true…..”

I defeated her after getting pissed and using Triaina. Though I reflected on my behaviour back then. Akeno-san told me not to show Triaina until the last moment, but used it right away….. I was enraged because my comrades were defeated. Maybe this is my current weakness? If I don’t be calm even more, I would instable as a :King” in the future. When I was thinking something like that which I usually don’t, Akeno chuckles.

“…….I have to do something about myself from now on. But lets forget that for now. Can’t you still call Rias by her name clearly yet?”

“U-ummm….. I can when I have to…… But I’m not used to it and I also feel shy! It’s not that I don’t want to call her by her name but its just that I feel really shy about it!”

This is my true feeling! I’m really shy to call her by her name…… But I actually want to call her by her name! I want to say “Rias I love you!”. Akeno-san then smiles.

“Oh my. Thank you for the good reaction. Then I would have to make you call me “Akeno” is well. And don’t you think it would turn you on if we started an affair soon as you confessed?”

“A-a-a-affair!?”

You were!? Asia-chan started to get bold lately that even I’m getting shocked! She even started to beg for a kiss even more! This definitely must be a influence from Buchou and Akeno-san! Then Zenovia shows uo.

Irina also shows up and seems shocked! You guys came is well!? The Church-trio is energetic even in morning! Time has passed since I confessed to Rias…… What will happen to me from now….? Like that, the crazy morning like that ended and I was at the living room on the first floor. It’s time for breakfast. Having my mum as their leader, most girls are helping her setting up the table. So today we are having fried egg, Miso-soup and salmon huh. So a Japanese menu then. We have a rotation of Japanese, European and Chinese food for breakfast. All of the girls work so hard making them, so I always have my stomach filled with delicious food every morning. I’m really am a lucky guy!

“You know. Daddy’s most favourite time is when we have food. Everyone is good at making food so they are all delicious. Woman says “Man’s heart with their stomach”. You know what I mean, right Ise?”

Dad says it with a smiley face while eating the food.

“I do! I really do understand dad!”

I nodded my head. My daily dining is fun! I’m surrounded by bishoujo! I eat food made by bishoujo! I eat while chatting with bishoujo! It’s an ideal life right? This is the moment when I feel that it was great to be born as a guy!

“This is your bento(lunch-box) Ise.”

Rias puts the lunchbox front of me while having a really big smile. Mum, Rias, Asia and Akeno-san roates their shifts for making food for lunch. Koneko-chan, Zenovia, Irina, and Rossweisse mainly eats so they don’t participate. They sometime go to the kitchen but can’t compete with the “Four-Heavenly Kings” of the kitchen. The four-kings are mum, Rias, Asia and Akeno-san. Especially Asia has something special in her cooking and is said to be the number 1 candidate of being passed down the “Taste of house of Hyodou” by my mum. Like that, they rotate by making lunches for the lunch box. By lately, Rias is the one making lunch for me. Apparently the girls decided to leave the cooking for me to Rias. Rias also makes bento-box for me every time with a really happy face. The lunch-box always have food which has been made with lots of care and has a heart mark on it and they taste delicious all the time. It is the best!

“Ise getting lunch-box that is only made by Rias-san…… You are doing well Ise.”

Dad says it while nodding his head! A lunch-box made from a beloving-wife! That’s what I would like to say, but Matsuda and Motohama also says “Did your wife make that bento!?” by looking at a bento made by Asia and Akeno-san is well. So why should I put it…….?

“Maybe you would call it “A bento made from the legal-wife”………. Since I’m living in the Hyoudou’s resident is well, there might be a time when I have to show the cooking of my mother-land.”

Rossweisse-san says it while putting her hands on her chin. Her homeland…… What kind of food does Valhalla have? But I should be happysince the variation of foods will increase. While I couldn’t get rid of my smile, Ravel came into my sight. She was filling the lunchbox with food. It’s not the luncbox Ravel uses…… Who’s is it?

“O, Ravel. Who’s lunchbox is that?’

“This is a lunchbox for Gasper-san. It seems like he’s doing a morning training by himself.”

“Morning training!? Gya-suke is!?”

I made a very shocked scream! Morning training!? By himself!? This is a shocking truth! Rias then says it while taking a seat next to me.

“In the last match, he said he felt his lack of strength. So he’s doing his own training besides the training he does with you and Yuuto. Gasper is doing a basic training so it wont put pressure on his body.”

The last match…… So the battle against the Bael team. It’s something we cant talk about in detail because my parents are here now. Then Akeno-san continues.

“He said he wants to master his strength and reach that “stage”. For that he said he will train his body from the basic, so he does muscle training and running from morning.”

He wants to reach that “stage”….. So he wants to attain Balance-Breaker for his Sacred-Gear. Is that so…… So he has been concerned about the last match that much. But he fought very well. He showed us that he is a man. Even so, Gyasuke couldn’t forgive himself for his lack of power. He is a guy after all. I know how you feel Gyasuke. Being weak is something guys cant forgive themselves for. I will also help him much as I can. As the guys of Gremory group, Gyasuke, Kiba and I have to be strong enough to protect the girls! Zenovia then says it with a serious eyes.

“Yes. He is a man. He will definitely get strong.”

The one who received the most support from Gyasuke is Zenovia. The one who saved Zenovia who was cornered by getting her guard down was Gyasuke. But…….

“I don’t want to imagine him being all muscly……..”

In my head, I combined Mil-tan’s body and Gyasuke’s head. I can imagine him being a creature from “Fist of the North Star”.

What should I do if that happens……. Well, I don’t think it would go that far. But increasing your basic stats is a good thing. Even I can go around the battle-field in Balance-Break state without having any stress on my body. You need to start from body training and sprinting first.

Hahaha…… The quarrel between these two has become a daily thing is well. They always argue like this everytime. But its not that they don’t get along. Koneko-chan also helps Ravel everyday and Ravel also depend on Koneko-chan. They must be good fighting buddies. I’m also having fun seeing Koneko-chan acting like this. While I was looking them with a smile, mum whispers into my ears.

“……What is it mum?”

I drink a cup of water. Then mum says it the same time.

“When can I see my grandchild?”

Ok got the point here Reaper. Honestly ,i say more than one time I think one neko girl would be enough in Ise harem...or at least this was my feeling thought before. But I have to admit would make sense for the author do this after show us all this. I mean ,why say/show us the true reason why Kuroka kill her master? Why make her and Ise talk about this and show us that they can have a good talk? You know me ...I dont really like pointless drama ...but in these two girls case would make sense. I have to admit I would like to see Koneko try to avoid that her sister take Ise(thing ,that we know to well will never happen...I mean we know that koneko like the other main 3 is really important for Ise).About Sona I still have my dubt ...I mean if that was the route that the author want to take ....I dont think he would have aspect until now that Ise and Rias are a couple(mind you ...i dont say this will never happen ..just I would find the thing a little strange.)and I know that Ise would never try to take away the girl that his friend love. Even if the girl dont seem to love him (saji) in that kind of way...i can more see Ise and (maybe even) Rias to try to help saji in this(Rias ...well you know how she is a time lol) . But I have to admit that i find strange that the author made Sona say to Ise what she feel toward Saji or make her ask Ise to call her by first name. I suppose we will see about this. About kuroga i can see her a harem candidate If we follow this reasoning but not a one of Ise evil piece...for the simple reason that some one else say...I want some one that know how to fix life spam in vali group in the case that JD goes wrong.XD

Now i wonder what will be you reaction if the author of Hh dxd make Ise come back a the start of vol 12 or really early in the vol (like ..life 1 or life 2). Just something that I wonering knowing you reaction on that one.

In Ise's case I would be happy with Joy. That's because readers love Ise. But in Ichika's case I would have wanted him to get stronger so having him go through hell in order to be a real man was necessary.

Now that i think about with this new her ...I'm really wonder what she will do when Ise is back in this vol.

Probably unlikely. I can see her continuing to flirt with Ise and teasing Koneko. But not joining his harem. She's a cat afterall so she will just comes and goes

But it wont be weird if she start to develop feeling for him after reading volume 11.
