Macross DYRL had a good bit of gore. A few scenes in fact; the first when Max shot his gunpod into a Zentradi's helmet at point-blank in the opening battle of the movie (brief, but you can definitely see it), during a good bit of Miria's introductory battle (when she was blowing away Zentradi you see a bunch of close-ups, especially at the end where she squashes a Zentradi's head with her suit's heel; this head-squashing was actually censored in the Blu-Ray re-release of the movie), and in the ending battle when a civilian's head gets sliced off by debris. (which I believe was what GundamZZ was referring to)

Ah I see. Thanks for listing them clearly.

Still, I consider those more of combat violence gore than that of horror gore, since while you do see blood and pieces its mostly from combat trauma...

Muvluv is about the same... but with teeth... and more details... Being eaten has always been more visceral...

If you analyzed their roles in the game and the story. It indeed fits the bill on that illustration but takeru is so darn out of place in that outfit.
