Yeah, he's a guy. Just a warning, Sukisyo is shounen-ai. It's kind of ridiculous how the entire cast is all males and there are no females anywhere.

Just looked this up on ANN (it's spelled Sukisho there, which is correct? H or Y? It's like Cardcaptor Shaoran and Tsubasa Syaoran, are h and y similar to l and r or something?).

And yeah, the moment I read 'he starts to fall in love with his roommate' was when I switched off. Nothing against Shounen-ai, but it's not my thing. There again I'm not much into shoujo-ai either, strangely enough (Strawberry Panic kinda really put me off that genre though).

Hello Everyone !

I'm new to this forum, so please bare with me

I need everyones help if possible to find one particular anime/cartoon I saw when I was quite young back in early 90s.
I'm pretty sure it was full-feature movie, and not a series, but again not quite sure. I saw it in Poland where I grew up.
Ok, I will try to describe as much as I can possibly remember....Here it goes:
I'm sure the exact story line, but there was once a peaceful civilization until something happened in which most people had to go in to stasis to hide in the caves/mountain. I guess many years went by, and a group of astonauts landed on this planet to investigate it for any life. They stumbled on this cave and notice a console that unlocks mechs/tranformers(whatever you wanna call them). I can't remember how many there were, but there where couple white & couple black huge robots that were obviously not working(off).
There was a huge dispute amongst the astronauts, about having this ultimute power that they split up and they went their seperate ways.
Obviously there were good astronauts vs evil astronauts....they awakened the mechs(white---the good) and(black--evil).
Once the teams unlcock the mechs, hovok went loose, the mechs can operate on their own but not to FULL POTENTIAL.....To operate at their prime, FULL OPTIMAL operation, they require a human to control them. Each mech has a compartment built into them where a human can control most of the robots functions. And obviously the rest will write it self, they started to fight each other....lots of action....what a great movie....!!!!
You must be wondering what the mechs look like...well I can only remember one...the black mech....evil one, it was snake/cobra looking mech with two gigantic disk on both sides of his body for rapid movement. As the fights went on the people that once inhabited this planet remained in stasis until.....well....not sure, my memory is not that good....that was many year ago !

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know. I WOULD greatly APPRECIATE it !!
I would like to know the Title of the movie and where to get ti if possible...

Nope
It`s very old anime.
I think it`s title was "Yuka, Vampire Hunter" or something like that.
But i can`t find anime with such title.

Were all the mechs animal shaped? If so, I'm thinking it was one of the zoids series. As for which one, no clue.

I think the mechs were animal shaped the more I think about it, but I'm not 100% sure.
Is zoids an old cartoon?
The one I saw was in the early 90s.

Hmm... Probably not it then. I think the first zoids series was 99 or 2000, too late to be the series you're looking for.

hmmm, yeah, I was just researching the zoids cartoons, and it's something completely different. Thanks for your help though.
Maybe I should just give up, without the title it's going to be very hard to find what I'm looking for, plus the age of that cartoon is another factor.
Early 90s is long ago, but I will keep trying, who knows maybe I will find it........

Oh, another thing....
Do you remember seeing a mech that was in a form of a snake/cobra in which the whole body was black and the wheels on both sides were green??
It was no slow mech either, it was pretty fast.
