lol, that's not quite what meant, but true. I meant "why are there suddenly guns in Ever17?" since about half the cast had guns in 12Riven, when there had been no guns in any earlier Infinity games.

I guess it's my turn to be the non-pessimistic one. Until I know who is involved in the project, scenario wise, I will assume things are okay. Even if the 3-D models are horrible, even if the OP song is unimpressive, even if the new art isn't being done by the original artist, even if...

I mean it could just be a toy gun or something.

I'm still in support of the remake too. This is just the first time since it's been announced that I've been left scratching my head.

On the other hand, though, I wonder when this new CG is supposed to take place. This has some surprising implications, after all. Also, is it just me, or does that take place in the warehouse?

I sure hope they don't butcher the remake. I really am not liking what they are showing so far. Hopefully they'll surprise us with something good.

The name of the ED has been revealed.

According to the Single CD, the ED will be called "Enrai", which means "Distant Thunder". Well, there's one other song on the CD, but since that's the title of the album and one of the songs, I'm assuming that's the ED.

Although this doesn't have much to do with ever17. I recently played a visual novel called 999 (9 hours, 9 doors, 9 persons) and I'm seriously amazed as to how intricate this game is. It has a few rules (you'll see what I mean if you try the game) but makes so many complicated problems with them. It's one of those "survival situation" scenarios but it goes well beyond that. The game gets into some advanced theories, but it simplifying them so the players can understand how thick and deep the storyline is. Honestly it's one of the best VN's I have ever played (aside from ever17). I highly, HIGHLY recommend it.

P.S. It's for the DS so you can sit in your bed and play the game

Still, I wonder what the reason for the delay is. Are they dealing with bugs? Or perhaps they're doing something to enhance the game? Like I've said in the past, while I don't think it'll be happening, it'd be nice if they had a You route for Takeshi or something like that. Oh well, it's probably nothing big.

Incidentally, any guesses on what the new ending will be, while we're at it? I hope it's not something simple like: "Coco's Route Bad Ending". That would be interesting, but not worth it IMO.
