No.

But when you die, and you've done all that Haruhi asks in this life. You will be rewarded by going to Haruhi's hevan. Which is full of bunny girls and maids for the guys. And moi boys for the girls.

But if you do not follow her rules and what she wants in this life, you go to a closed space, one that has everything this world has, but with everyone with Koizumi's head. (Or Taniguchi's if your a girl)

Personally I consider myself as an "Agnostic Atheist", since it's what makes sense to me.
Also this thread having "Endless Eight" tag made laugh.

Niiicee one.
Umm, off/on topic-ish.
My friend Alyssa is Catholic. She says that if you don't ask God to forgive your sins, then you're going to hell.
She said my sin was Gluttony, and that when I get to hell, they'll put food in front of me and never let me eat it..for all eternity.
Um, is there any truth to this? Or does it depend on your religious beliefs?

The answer varies depending on whom you ask. I'd say that it depends on your belief overall, not just religious belief.

As for me, I'm a Buddhist, and I believe that things that happen stem from complex chains of actions and reactions/causes and consequences, so I'd say that the route from gluttony --> hell is oversimplifying it. I also have problems with the way she put it and the "they'll put food in front of [you]" and "for all eternity" parts, but that's just me.

So I guess my answer to your first question would be "I don't know." However, she hasn't given sufficient ground for you to worry about it, so you shouldn't, either. If anything, you should be more concerned about whether you being "gluttony" is true or not.

That would be one interpretation from a Catholic of her beliefs....

It depends ENTIRELY on your religious beliefs and your interpretation of what the Bible says on the subject. The "truth" depends on what you think "true" means. Are her remarks literally and physically true? Most of the world would say "no". But then most of the world isn't Roman Catholic and even amongst that faction there is disagreement.

If I drop a hammer, I have rules and mathematics that predict with a lot of certainty how fast it will fall and what energy it will hit the ground with. If I assert "you're going to hell for doing X", there's no test at all to validate that statement.

I lean Christian, but I don't belong to any religion. I believe in God, and some things in the Bible, but not all. Don't know where that puts me.

Depends on your beliefs, IMO; no one knows who's actually right or wrong when it comes to the hereafter....

I guess you'll find out when you keel over, huh

Well whether you should believe it depends on whether you believe a concept written by a 4th century monk named Evagrius Ponticus (who actually listed 8 sins but later revised by Pope Gregory I to the 7 sins we know today.

It's not our position to tell you whether you should believe this or not. You ll have to decide this on your own whether you're a Catholic or not.

In my opinion, such religious ideas are often mere guidepost for our life rather than rules. Underneath the fear mongering, there are some good ideas/philosophy behind the 7 deadly sins.

I guess you're somewhat in between the category of agnostic theism and christianity.

I believe that we'll be reincarnated someday as another human or animal, and have no memories of our last lives, but have deja vu..

It shouldn't be. *FEAR* should not be the basis for your behavior or choices. I'd start questioning why an institution or persons should want you fearful.

As for codes,

I'm allergic to organized religion and churches. Always have been. I respect them and the people who attend them for the good they can do, and for their own beliefs. It just doesn't work for me. As long as they don't force a religion down my throat, we can all get along peachy.

You can't insult someone for their religion. It's wrong.
When I'm joking, I say Haruhiism.
When I'm serious business, I say semi-athiest.
There's so many theories, I just don't know what to believe.
Similar reasoning, as said before made me pick Agnostic Atheist, it's kinda semi-athiest, but it's not as adamant about there being no god for sure, no matter what.

My view on religion is more or less "whatever". I don't see any evidence for it, and it inherently can't be disproven, so I just want to live the few years humans get in this world in peace. I'm not interested in participating in religious debates.

If there is a God, and he's as all-powerful and benevolent as they say, then hopefully I'll get into heaven for being a kind, good person, even if I didn't go to church/temple/mosque every week and say prayers.
