Can we NOT measure by kb please? (A rant)

I ahve resized my signatures to 500x160 (The forums signature size limits) and I only have 2 images (The forum image limit), yet, I CANNOT display my work because of the kb limit. Other sites don't even count the kb!

I know you are doing this to reduce spam, but COME ON. You guys are restricting people's abilities to show their Photoshop mastery and their best work. '

Thanks for reading.

If you wish to show your work than you can create your own thread in Fan Creation forum where many users post their works.
Also the size limit is realy challenging create very good sig but keep it under forum rules.

Also....
Quote:
3.1 Size Limits

In order to keep The Forum fast for those who wish to see signatures we feel it is necessary to impose limits. Various combinations of images and text are permitted in signatures; these are summarized below:
Not everyone have fast internet connection, for those who have slow connection will not be able to load a whole page just because the images wont upload.

This is not an image board forum, it's Anime discussion forum.

Sorry if i am being rude it is not my intention to be. i only wont to help other membres

Many have complained about this in the past and the answer is alvays ''NO'' by admin/mods.

I think milan kyuubi covered all the pertinent points (thank you) so I'll just chime in with the official reply of "no". Thread closed.
