Say, could I freely adding every weapon to an IS with empty slot? I mean, a pistol is the same as a Gatling gun, right?

My fic has them different
1. In Sacred twins one slot is one slot, no matter the size. It's just take longer to summon bigger, more complex weapon than to summon smaller, simpler one.
2. In Mirrorverse various weapon have various size and allotment, like a grid inventory. A weapon might take half a slot or two slot depending how large and complex they are

The canon seems to follow first rule, but our only indicator is Charlotte, and hard to quantify to boot.

But then, does that mean summoning a bunch of uzi is better than a rapid fire gun?

Just remember the protagonist of Bayonetta and her ability to shoot four guns at one...

You talk as if everyone is bayonetta, that's where your confusion lies.

In fact, the reason Ichika has handgun and carbine instead of SMG and automatic rifle is more philosophical than functional. Logically the latter set is more practical for I.S. combat.

Seriously, playing MSG3-4 is one off mine wisest choice.

I could imagine Ichika with left arm of Madoka, right from Chifuyu's.

The only redeeming choice of that gun? Ricocheting bullet, in UNREALISTICALLY PREDICTABLE ballistic. I've killed the Fury once with it, took very long but lolworthy. Take MGS with face value unless you use it as background (which is how I do it in the quest)
