Haha absolutely brilliant . You can bet that's exactly what Vegeta meant. Well either that or Vegeta, Gohan, and Dende .

Anyways great way to finish the episode. Was surprised with the music but it really just made the scene all the more powerful. I mean damn Krillin has been knocked around quite a bit lately, but this time he just got outright impaled. Some simple trip to gather some Dragon Balls eh.

It's a shame Gohan and Kuririn were so damn shocked by Freeza's transformation, because they should be having a go at Vegeta for telling Freeza he should transform.

This person speaks the truth . Beyond what's stated in the manga and daizenshuu, everything else is nothing but conjecture. There is no need to get into so many technicalities or mathematical equations as a means of deriving power levels. None of us are Akira Toriyama, and it's clear that characters got certain boosts in power just for the sake of the plot. Let's just enjoy the story for what it is and leave it at that.

The piccolo/nail fuse seemed to drag out a bit so I was wondering if the english dub did a better job at his scene...

just maybe it can be explained by the fact that a Sayajin overcoming that first power levels of 30.000-40.000 gets a boost of power, of, let's say - times 8, achieved by healing abillity.

in that manner, we can actually justify goku's Kaioken vs Freeza -

Freeza first form: 530.000

Freeza second form: 1.100.000

Freeza third form: 3-4 mill

Freeza final without powerup: 6 mil (he stated that in a final form he uses only 50% of full)

6 mill divided by 20 gives us 300.000, so, we must assume that goku had a little less - 280.000 after healing (explains the boost of power whitch i stated earlier) and he could actually be a mach for Freeza.

and we all know the story behing Gohan's emotions

All I have to say is you're combatting the canon data books with your own speculation. Freeza's final form was 120,000,000. It doesn't matter if you like it or not, Toriyama said so.
Goku shouldn't have been able to jump from 8,000 to 180,000 in a week, or from 400-whatever to 8,000. These guys grow exponentially.

Only Akira Toriyama can give out power levels for the characters of Dragon Ball. There were many debates about this during the Freeza Saga. Saiyajins and even half-Saiyajins gain power when near death and completely recover from their wounds. There are still some loopholes like Goku's power level when he first fought Freeza. Nevertheless, this series is jam-packed with action and surprises.

ok, so, give me a link where toryama stated that Freeza iz 120 million in final form, instead of 12 million .. ?

i read over 9000 aricles staing that freeza iz 12 mill, not 120 mill, and that the missinterpretation of that fact is the accidental zero added by toryama, which he stated is a mistake.

and, figure out for your self -

if vegeta could destroy planets wih 17.000, and acording to yours calculaions, in Cell saga they had over 10 billion PL - a sneaze of a character with that kind of power would obliterate the whole universe along with Supreme Kai's planet ..

it's silly for freeza o have his power level multiplied by 240 from his first form, to his last.

Krillin is pretty awesome if you've seen Dragon Ball. He played a bigger role in that series so he wasn't as pitiful as he appears in DBZ. Also, he already died in Dragon Ball and at this point in the series the characters aren't aware the Namek dragon would return so in their minds, if he dies, he's gone forever.

Not bad. Though I would have more chanting than singing in that song.
