You really have to wonder about Goku who, while getting beat up by Freeza, decides to have dreams of a naked Vegeta.

Considering it's Goku nothing his mind comes up with surprises me . Still the first one he sees Freeza taking out is Krillin, then he zooms back home. Apparently his mind sees Gohan getting out of there alright .

Yeah i always thought that. Maybe it just adds more effect with it being an illusion.

Omg, perverts

naked vegeta isnt a dream, it's vegeta speaking from afterlife. somewhere in the process of dealing with Yemma, you get to loose your clothes.

so, we should probably guess that someone, maybe some kaioshin, decided to give some confidence to Goku, allowing Vegeta to speak to him.

so - Vegeta's apparition is actualy dead Vegeta, and, other dressed up people are Vegeta's memories

Ocam's razor everyone ...

Yeah, pretty sure Ocam's Razor states that the simplest method, in this case that Goku is hallucinating, is the right choice.

I think the simplest answer is that Vegeta just likes chillin' in the buff in other people's hallucinations.

it would be the best choice, if Vegeta's not naked ...

goku, halucinating naked vegeta, while getting worst beat up in his life - not the easiest conclusion that comes up

No I have to agree with the whole hallucinating thing. It makes more sense than someone letting Vegeta be Goku's cheerleader(seriously how often does this happen?).

Well this was also after Vegeta cried and actually begged Goku for something. How often does that really happen? This is an unusual situation. Besides whether he likes it or not Goku is his only hope for the death of Freeza. Though I'm still not sure if he was talking from the afterlife why he couldn't wear clothes....Yet at the same time I'm not really comfortable thinking that Goku hallucinated Vegeta in the buff. Both theories have issues depending on your position .

very often - via King Kai.

how many times ? let's count:

1. Roshi on the toilet
2. Piccolo talking to Goku about Freeza
3. Piccolo talking to gohan about revival
4. Yamacha to bulma about Goku's death
5. Goku talking to Gohan in Cell fight
6. Old supreme kai talking about missusage of dragonballs

that's all the dead people talking telepathically throughout the series, so - its not so rare

Except we know that Vegeta's not with King Kai, as we're constantly shown King Kai and his surroundings: Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu. So arguing that King Kai does it a lot doesn't help when King Kai obviously couldn't have done it.

A shame they couldn't finish the episode with the aftermath of the Spirit Bomb, since it was a great cliffie in the original. But I guess that would've been too much material for them to cover in one episode.

I was referring to Vegeta being Goku's cheerleader.

Yeah that was a great thing to have for a cliffhanger. But suppose that's the way it goes. Still a good episode and moves us toward one hell of an epic moment.
