That's the plan; as the phrase was coined- "They're gonna Toradora it".
Well, I doubt they could actually faithfully squeeze 10 volumes + 2 sidestories (optional) into 24 episodes... Even Toradora had a lot of editing.

Not a bad episode. Feeling kinda meh about Mashiro, the deadpan quiet weird girl just doesn't really appeal to me, but I do love how the MC interacts with her. Not surprised about the revelation of her being who she is, the so smart she's retarded card plays well into the theme of this show.
Misaki did seem upset, but I'm not quite sure I'd say its cause of her liking Jin. I think it just might be more than anything the constant rejection he gives her in general, at times he acts like he wants nothing to do with her. As far as the birthday cake and giftwrap stuff, that's in her nature, she was just asking to mess around with the MC in episode one, so this didn't surprise me at all. Plus, Jin doesn't seem to want no part of a committed relationship, hell I can't blame him especially with what he's got going. More power to you. Then again, this is anime, so I wouldn't be surprised if they wound up a couple....Hell, I bet 5 bucks its likely...

You know, I should really hate this show. Bad, pervy, kinky dialogue and fanservice everywhere, bouncing tits and ass and a female cast that almost glorifying and acknowledging themselves as sexual objects (or in the case of Aoyoma, typical tsundere jelly). Even more so since it has "Okada bad perv" written all over it (Yes I'm aware she's only adapting, but her "infamy" is obvious by now )
However, I can't stop laughing my ass off. It's like watching one of those American Teen Sex comedies. So bad it's good. I think that's the term I will use here . The highlight (or rotten tomato moment) of this episode was the following: Mashiro: I have sorata Ayano: sorata? Mashio: A boy Ayano: *puts on sunglasses* Completely lost it there. Something tells me all this is intentional... |

Kansai-ben is usually associated with Osaka, who are stereotypically more easy-going and "jolly" compared to the more uptight Kantojins. It's not that the dialect itself is a source of laughter, but that the person able to speak it is supposed to be a funny person.
Of course, Kyoto-ben is a bit more dignified than most Japanese dialects. |

The Azumanga Daioh dub gave Osaka a texan accent to try and replicate the effect of what Kansai accent.
Really glad to be hearing more of Aoyama's VA after I heard her in ginga e kickoff,I'm quite amazed that she's able to get her first couple roles at 29 in this day and age where the industry seems youth obsessed.
