- Teana got PWNED once again, this time by Signum
Surely, however, she deserves that though... asking stupidly clear question when they're on duty, and just about to launch for scrumble situation.
T: "WHY? Is it because you do not need someone that does not follow the order!?"
N: "You already know the answer by saying that yourself."

- Finally the revealation of the... "incident".
It's explained that repeated use of high-power-output artillery-magics (especially SLB) which is very stressful to her body, then shortly after she dared to use then-unstable cartridge system and Excelion Mode, which boosts ability of user beyond one's body can withstand...
All these stress were building up on her body, and after 2 years when she was suprise-attacked by "Unknown" when she was on her way back from mission, that stress caused her reaction delayed for a fraction of time... and that costed her that injury.
(In other words, we still don't know what that "Unknown" was, yet.)

haha tea deserved that! its clear now who is in the wrong and who is in the right...nanoha was being caring to tea in the fact that those shots didnt even do any heavy damage...and from the discription of the past she has every right to be logical about tea trying to push herself to the point of no return...nanoha experienced it herself first hand so i will stick by her views

well... let's summary the "mock" battle, with thisguy's spoiler in mind :

1) So, Teana received an attack which didn't deal any significant physical damage. this is not a plot device, but rather good news : i was afraid it was out of character. (it perfectly make sense with nanoha)

2) the remaining problem i see with the second attack then : what was the point of this stunt?
That must be a message for Subaru, but what was the point? "you can be owned if you do things reckless". true, but i was thinking back there : the mock battle isn't a real fight, thus how can we consider that the moves they were performing would be used in real battle? after all, everything was solely focused on the main objective : "deal a clean hit to instructor takamichi"
No, i'm not saying Subaru and teana were right, they were completely going overboard. however, considering the situation, a plain cancel of the mock battle would be more effective and pertinent.

3) So nanoha don't want Teana going panzer, using everything she got, in such way that her body won't withstand it after a while.
i will be blunt : wasn't it a bit easier to plainly say it instead of letting her rookies going nutso on the objective?
(true that Nanoha warned Teana about teamplay. but it would have much more impact if she explain the reasons, and also the consequences. talking about experience with "noobies" is also a effective way, instead of the usual "trial-error-punishment")
Even with that information, i fail to get that message back in episode 8.
Everyone was expecting : you guys are too reckless, while having only a mock battle objective. thus in real battle, you had too much flaws and you got terminated.
But hell no, it was just : improves your sharpshooter skills first, then you can level up!"

frankly, both parties were utterly wrong on that silly mock battle...

According to Fate, there are 2 honorific title for outstanding soldier;
These who fights with beautiful skill and power are called with honorific title of "Ace".
These who fights with confidence and has much of experience that people around him/her can rely on the person and believe itheir victory, are called "Striker".

Nanoha wants all of rookies to be sturdy and experienced "Strikers", and her trainings are for that goal.

nanoha vita and fate chan the leaves to go destroy the drones and subaru tries to stand up for tea by telling signum as it is...but she knows nothing and the story of about the bloody past is about to start...

side note...nekkid tea now what inspection was shamal doing again?

Well for the title Ace, there's Kha and Sophia, while Artei is on his way to gaining Striker rank, while Kaempfer is a full Striker with his vast experience gained from his age despite being young for a dragon. Little Allison is... no where near anywhere. Now you see why her entire Trinity treats her like a non-combatant outside of Knight training.

But yeah now I've an ideal to work males towards.

Well, I guess it's a similarity with FSN mechanics. And good luck on the exams.
Mine just finished a week ago, though it was for voluntary summer class.
I hope they put even just a silhouette of the Unknown at least.

Sorry, but I really feel that if Teana is still acting like an idiot, she should be punished accordingly. I'm also starting to take a personal disliking for that attitude of hers, which made her endanger her partner in epi.7. I'm not sure it's safe to keep her in the team.
