Licensed for release in North America by Aniplex USA... to the surprise of probably no one.

The anime will begin streaming as it airs this October, and the company is "planning a home release version of Samurai Flamenco on disc."

Two new short CMs on the site today -- a general one showing the character designs with a SPYAIR OP preview, and one for the ED song by the in-series idol group Mineral Miracle Muse (Haruka Tomatsu, M.A.O, and Erii Yamazaki).

Sugita, Kosugi and Ohkawa? The cast made it a "must watch" for me

Like many people here, Takahiro Omori >>> must watch!!

Music of the 1st CM was.... interesting. But judging from 2nd an 3rd CM, I doubt it will be like that for the serie.

As for the anime himself, it's hard to say for know since we have absolutely nothing. I guess it will do a nice surprise when I'll watch.

Do we know if second season will follow right after the first ?

There won't be any second seasons. Just the general two-core show like Psycho-Pass was.

Ok thank. It's just that sometime people talk about a 24/26 episode series like a 2 season serie.

Some people say so but I'd personally won't mix general two-core(aka 20+ eps), split-core and general two seasons shows. They have same amount of eps but it's a different things.

You can listen to the TV version of the opening here: http://llamaop.wordpress.com/2013/09...i-flamenco-op/

I love SPYAIR. Their work on Gintama is amazing.

Official twitter posted a picture of some storyboards for the OP.

EDIT: LQ of the full version is up.

Ah. Another show that Crunchyroll aren't streaming to the UK (Or Europe, for that matter).

"SAMURAI FLAMENCO will be available to audiences in the following territories: U.S.A., Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Central and South America."

Unless someone else (Daisuki?) gets it for the UK. But then again they're not doing Kill la Kill so will they do this? Is there anyone else?

This is almost a return to the bad old days when the US got loads of things the UK never did!

I am sorry. I feel the way international licensing works in the Internet age is so ridiculous.

So the pre-screening happened not long ago and the official twitter said this:

Quote:
ご来場下さった皆様、どうもありがとうございました。まだ未完成の箇所がありましたが、テレビ放送で完成版 をお楽しみいただけると幸いです。
"Thank you to those who attended. There were some incomplete parts but we hope you will enjoy the complete version during the TV broadcast."

The question about a lack of proper PV has been solved. Samumenco confirmed for terrible production scheduling.

Spoiler for Screen:

Recently posted in the official twitter account. It seems that soon we'll get at least CM with an actual animation footage.

I heard from the Nips that the animation used in SF is very close to rotoscope, though not on the same level as Flower of Evil, I'm thinking something more along the lines of Kids on the Slope (which was also aired on noitaminA).
