oh, I'd gladly answer this one,...

First I saw the image was posted at the Nanoha image thread, with this video,

I set the youtube video to fullscreen and took at least 3 or 4 screencaps,... (could be more) and stitched them together to get the best possible quality.




I also used the other Kannazuki no Miko crossover images (the ones in mikkoo's spoiler tag above) for reference, the Lucky Star one, The Haruhi one and the original Kannazuki no Miko one as well.

And that's what I used for the trace, it was a little hard to see the finer details on some of the areas, but I'm glad it turned out alright^^

I just felt really pissed after hearing this, and of course as a fellow friend, I just had to.

I just dislike going to my danboruu and users are complaining about stealing works. Well... anyway..

haha, well, it happens.. nothing much we can do about it.

Technically, him mentioning that I stole the image has truth to it, BUT, to be more precise, this IS a vector TRACE, meaning, I copied it, made a larger and better quality version out of it. I had to go through every line, color and detail and spend a heavy amount of time on it just the same and traced it with great care.



..and lastly, I wasn't the one who added my name as an artist tag at danbooru.
I'm the guy who makes the vector and formats it for desktop use. (I don't really know if you would call that an 'artist')

I also metioned when I posted it at the Nanoha thread:
"My apologies to the original conceptual artist I take no credit for composition, only for the trace itself."

I really do respect the original artist, and I do praise him for his work, and I would love to see it on my desktop, -and I have the skills just for that... feels kinda wrong, I know, but meh, once you post something on the internet, you;ve already given it away.

So true.. My avatar is pretty much a copy and paste, mess around with the colours and make it "mine." The original picture was stored in my folder long ago, I had no idea who created it. Yes, I sounded despicable, but where do I get the programs and draw out myself? I am sure there's a whole lot of people like me out there, on earth.

Crediting your works with where you got it is not stealing, it's alteration of their work. But i'm sad to say, some of the extractions I have do not have the extractors name on them >.< so I cannot credit them.
