You are saying that a bunch of middle schoolers are venomous snakes when there are things like Accelerator, GROUP, Aiwass and Aleister in Academy....

Considering that the japanese use the kanji for "Faction" and nothing else then the "serpent" thing is a serious case of over thinking things in the wrong direction.

It's been Implied because of the opening page where Kuroko is in the hospital.

Not just that. Kongou started talking about making a clique in the prologue of volume 8. That scene was in chapter 40. So unless you think Kuroko got hospitalized twice in the timeline of vol 8 (including one that wasn't talked about), then yes, 41 is shortly after that.

Unlikely, especially since said timeline is about a day and a night, IIRC.

oh sorry! I've completely forgotten the vol 8 of the novel. But it would be good if there was a railgun version of the false date between touma and mikoto.

On other hand, it is kinda weird that Remnant Arc seems to be left out... isn't it kinda important for both Kuroko's development?

But chapter 41 had her avoiding Unabara. Mabye it is just a mixup in the timelines?

Also the Musujime part could be done from Misaka's point of view.

Also I think I worded my post badly. I meant to say that since Unabara was in that chapter, which is right before chapter 41 that the Musujime part hasn't happened yet. The author probably just moved the part where Kongou tried to start a clique back to fit the plot (or just made a mistake).

The page just said 'Kuroko went overboard at work', so I don't think this is about Vol8 with Musujime. Chances are Kuroko got hurt in another incident.

Why would that be a problem? In addition to the Aztec magician, there's a real Unabara with a crush on Mikoto. That's all it means. (Sure, he was hospitalized the day of the false date, but it wasn't anything serious.)

That would just place 41 even further after vol 8. She'd have to have time to get hurt again. (In fact, it'd also have to be after the Daihaseisai.) I think it's just simpler not to assume that, and consider the "work" thing a white lie.
