It answered how they're going to survive a bit longer, but now how they're going to overturn the situation. Beating an enemy that has three times your numbers on an open field is just impossible. I like how Shin gave no shit about Kanki and left him completely open to a direct attack by Riboku's troops. Kanki doesn't seem to mind.

Well, do you forget the previous encounter where Kanki (80k) face Kochou (240k) and Kanki won? Sure this time it is an open field and how Kanki shows zero panic reaction, you can ensure he has done something few days ago.

Remember when Naki went to visit Kanki at night chapter? Kanki must have deducted something from that. I am sure that Kanki will BS this war and win.

Riboku basically 5 star version of Mou Gu, its no wonder Ousen and Kanki can outplay them. They are reading him like their old general.

How wrong Riboku can be? Even in the latest chapter, he still playing the narration that Kanki is trying to escape from his grasp. The thought that Kanki will trying to win this war never come across the great Riboku's mind.

Every chapter those past few weeks have made Kanki seem more and more screwed, but it looks like things are finally about to turn around. I doubt he killed the civilians because Shin wouldn't even have gone to Hika with him if that was his intention. I can't wait to find out what his plan that is going to make Riboku shit his pants is.

He was one of the most entertaining character in the series, it won't be the same without him. This arc ended up adding a lot of depth to his character.
