Gin should be noted for his fast flurry hand molestation.
Also I was really shocked when people actually said it was good when they saw the sub. I was only complaining about CENSOR BAT, but I never complained about the how the story goes, I always explain that it's a spin off, they take little bits in the manga, they're still the same though presented differently in the anime etc...If Cupu2 was not censored by bats I think it will have a better impact in many viewers. OP and End songs are great, though in Capu1 it was a kick ass end song, hope they change the end again...but I highly doubt it now...but hey old man Gonzo might surprise us since Strike Witches did a good job. +Images Oh yes here's a Moka that will SUCK ON YOU!!! no need for spoilers....though the pose kinda reminds me of Dark Future...hehehe... Spoiler:
+1 Ruby She needs love Guys...Who doesn't want a girl that would do anything for you? Spoiler:
Ok more cooking up...

The manga, for me, is entirely too gory and somber. Page after page of action sequences tends to drag for this reviewer.
The anime adheres more closely to the kind of angle I was looking for from the setup of the story: a fun "supernatural" romp with some romantic, dramatic, and action bits. Having said that, Gonzo's work is kind of stupid. The endless panty shots are the worst aspects of the show. I love, love, love the hilarious lovey-dovey "Tsukune..." "Moka-san..." "Tsukune..." "Moka-san..." bits, but nothing really develops from them. I know a harem story is supposed to refrain from making one person definitively stand out as the winner, but it's brain-dead obvious anyway that he only likes Moka, and vice versa. I hope I'm not asking too much with character development. Anyway, great characters, with the occasionally great moment; I wish they were more intelligently utilized. The manga is too grim, the anime is too silly. PS To immunize myself from criticism of my criticism: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...MileageMayVary |

Rie Kugumiya is far too well known... listening to snowstorm, I'm surprised I failed to realize that was her earlier
And nana mizuki, I'm pretty sure, isn't nearly as huge. Perhaps this is a way of increasing her popularity? (It's working for me)

Ageha for the outrageous strength and silverish hair (and her tendency to beat people up) Is she a tsundere?, don't remember. SHinra for royalty and pride. Yep the two makes InnerMoka all right. http://www.kimiaru.jp/ (Shinra is the one wearing black, sitting on the chair)

Yeah me too. Just casually watched ZNT and Hayate whenever got the time, rarely watched Shana though I got a toy of her. Now Toradora kinda interest me, because of her. Problem here Rei got to me by NOT playing Tsundere role, but a sweet stalker with a gentle voice. I've liked the character of Mizore in the manga and anime first time I saw her in the promo add of R+V season1(ok not Capu1) she was the first girl that attracted me. I was shocked to know that it was Rei that was voicing her, she sounds totally different from the "Urusai-Urusai!!!" and "Baka Inu." It's like "Tsukune..." then you just pause and listen then suddenly WOW~~~!!! My heart was captured! Spoiler for other girls jealous:

Question: Why couldn't the original author of R+V manga be hired to actually DO the storyboard for the anime with coaching from the studio? Sort of like a Director's Cut version where the original vision and theme (slightly darker, less ecchi) remain intact? Pride? Politics? Culture?
Though i can easily forsee a clash with the director who will want his interpretation of the manga (i.e. Harry Potter 1-2 VS 3-onwards) and the studio itself which has marketing pressures to pander to the greatest demographic |

I think the anime version had an influence on the original author Ikeda Akihisa, since the anime aired and was ecchi. I think he went to go for a "harem" in his manga instead of the dark plot I'll resuce/protect you girls theme and added MORE ecchi scenes in the final volume of the season1 manga which matches season2 manga's.
But that doesn't mean his manga is all ecchi, believe it or not his manga is superb in story and plot.
