Uh oh. Was in the middle of going through 2-3 for the World 2 Boss daily when I suddenly got disconnected from the game. Still can't get back in, so I'm wondering what's happening.

EDIT: Huh, so apparently the old API I was using since December stopped working, so I had to grab a new one. So strange.

Jintsuu confirmed (almost definitely) to be receving 2nd remodel in February.

Huh, now that's an odd choice to give a new remodel to. What's the event?

Also, LOL that wedding system. *looks at ship levels * Well, the only candidates in my fleet that are remotely close are Kitakami and Ooi.

Bolded quote hinted that a ship that used a searchlight and fought valiantly til the end shall receive a new remodel.
The blue quote is tweeted today as the biggest hint, pretty much confirmed to be Jintsuu as it's part of her night battle quote.

IMO her remodel is long overdue for a vessel that scored quite an impressive merit before going out in blaze.

so I tried to enter the lottery for the first time today, followed the instructions on the wiki and made an account on dmm and joined a japanese server with the vpn client.
Logged into the game at the specified time and saw the packed server list so i just randomly clicked on servers that had blue text under them. But i could never get into the lottery i kept getting the network error cat image.

Does anyone know why? spent ages looking around and found some1 else with the same problem but i cant find any solutions online. Would really appreciate any help

at what point exactly was i supposed to find the cat patting the girls head to see if i joined the lottery? after i login or after i click on a server?

You misunderstand. You know that you've joined the lottery if there's a DIFFERENT image at the start, and not the server list boxes.

o... thats weird. I logged in around 5:31 JST on the site and it took me straight into the server list. I didnt see any image before getting there. so I should just wait till past 5:30 and repeatedly login until i see the image, instead of refreshing the server list?

The image should have gotten is supposed to be this instead:

That means you've managed to join the lottery. Anything else, and you missed your chance for the day.

some people said it's not matter, but during the lottery time, try to clear your cache and change your time to JST if can. I needed both of that for it to work for me

Is it supposed to show up right after i login to dmm and open kancolle game?

Im just confused since its my first time trying and i really wanna play, Ill try again next time.

oooo... i didnt change my time to JST maybe thats why nothing happened. Totally slipped my mind since I'm used to running japanese apps and playing visual novels but they normally require only the system local to be japanese.

In my case, I cleared my browser cache only, but didn't fiddle with my time. I just waited for the time + 1 hour (since the time in the Philippines is Tokyo plus an hour). I got in on my first try.

Slightly unrelated: Kaga and her higher than normal body temperature...

Here was my experience with the registration.

Have JP time setting, didn't lottery, got server page while full load, waited for a server opening, reloaded browser, picked a server, started playing.

As of last count, my resources are as follows:

Fuel: 22013
Ammo: 16496
Steel: 17119
Bauxite: 16953

Just waiting for my Steel to hit 19k or so, so I can have a buffer for repairs, but when I do, it's back to the Taihou roulette. 192 Devmats too. Let's see just how much LSC screws with me THIS week.

Your resources are very similar to mine, except my steel is almost triple yours.... (20k/15k/44k/18k)

what did you do to use up all those steels? I did not even farm 3-2 node before, and still always got excessive steels

Just recently got Taihou after the 5th or 6h try despite thought that i will never get her in a million years (you all know how devastating it was to get Hiyou from LSC) . So keep it up!! I still need Yamato through, but maybe i should wait until they add Musashi into the LSC pool (or when my resources bordering limit)

PS: anyone know whether the buckets can go past 999?

That New Mikawa Fleet clearing 2-3 quest is gonna take me a while. All 6 of them are at single digit levels, if not level 1.

Actually there's no rush to finish any of the Composition Sortie quests, unless you just want to clear out all those red quests from your list (I know I felt a relief when I finally got mine down to less than 1 page though). :P Indeed, most of them are undoable until you get past level 25 anyway, and what's more, remodeled your ships too.

I feel the pain for 2-3. My asashio series are now level 14 despite a level 30 Hiei and level 28 Kaga providing escort. The new mikawa fleet is now level 13-15 trying to run that blockade as well.

I know, just OCD >_<

In fact I should probably focus on the Kongou class quest to unlock the 4th fleet first.

But even if they get past 25 and remodeled, are they really gonna do well against the carriers and battleships? It's an entire fleet of 6 cruisers. Any specific way to do this? All I can think of is to stall until night battles, but I'm not sure how to survive that long without taking major damage.

Levels, or modernization to make up for the former. Try to max out their armor at the very least, but firepower is also good.

3 tries at LSC today for Taihou, 3 failures. The results are: 1 Junyou, and 2 Akitsumarus. On the bright side, I now have 3 Daihatsus for the Kai'd Akitsumaru I already have.

Back to resource regen. Sigh.

I see. Thanks. Guess I'll have to brute force through it.

Speaking of that, is it just me or the effects of formations are barely noticeable? If I have to say something it would be that I tend to miss more and do less damage going from the first formation to the last on the screen. Not seeing much of the benefit of not choosing the first one so far.
