So I just rechecked the pic, and is it just me, or is the story be similar to Lucky Luke and Desert Punk (with a hint of Django) but with Urobutcher's writing ?
Anyways, the western cowboy setting is very rare in animes like this, so of course it might become another crowning jewel of the spring season for me.

Thanks for posting the updated staff info. The plot of the anime is set in a future where the human alliance is at war with a mysterious alien race called Hideous. The story is about a child soldier named Red who is caught in some sort of warp accident and finds himself on an unknown water-based planet where the people there live together in large ship convoys and travel in across the sea.

Urobuchi + mecha = awesomeness (?)
Anyway, I’m hyped for this. My wet dream is for the Butcher to make his own Gundam series. The franchise suits him like a glove. Plus, Sunrise needs it after a commercial (and quality) wrong-turn that is Gundam AGE. Btw, anybody else thinks “Yoko-clone” after seeing the bottom-right girl (from the pic duckroll posted)?
