There's already a hentai anime with very very similar premise to this. It's only one episode and it gets to the point faster, settles the problem in a quick & natural way and has a happy ending (+ we get the sex)

ugh, it has NTR in the title. Unless the protag is fatarse or average guy and the guy, his girlfriend cheating on, is the popular sport type guy, I won't take this bait. Having the heroine as the most popular girl should equate to the girl's boyfriend be the most popular guy -_-

The premise does remind me of that webnovel I read months ago. I'm sure this will be better than that webnovel though.

That webnovel I read was so bad and too random. It was deleted from syosetsu, but remained at Kakuyomu. By the end of it, I didn't like any of the characters because they were all so rotten. The story had alternate endings like School Days.

Yeah, I'm sure this will be better. There's no way it can't be.

By the way, is there a real life romance primarily male targeted audience story lately where the main male character is NOT going with the most beautiful girl in school (or tied with her)?

It's been years but I recall one I've read where th the heroine want the top beauty but a nerdy one who eventually learns the way of make up and dressing a la mode.

The cover art is actually interesting in terms of character design or rather the aesthetics, but other than that it sounds basic enough that the premise has been used in everything from shounen subplots to hentai main plots, if Obilesk post if any indication.

It's not uncommon plot, but hardly numerous enough to be called "extremely generic". From my head I could put together maybe three or four cases If you compare it such premises like " single guy in all girl schol" or "father remarried and now step sister is thing" it's actually "extremely" original.

And honestly I don't think I can remember any premise that was done once and never again...
